It's been a phenomenal year for lenny, but i'd like us to set up better against the huns and at home in Europe, for whatever reason we've done better away in Europe this year

Huns at home was bad we lost if penalty goes in it a different game. We had the better chances that game too so I Don't think it was setup more mistakes at key times.

Aye I do agree they are games we should've won no problem. I just think when it comes to the manager the league is the one to be judged on. Unless you're Jock Ste
    That was us, not him.

The recruitment process has started that’s what we want to hear few tweaks not majorly surgery 2 or 3 and we should be very happy.

left back, left mid and a CB along with FF and we are sorted.

NEIL Lennon is proud of being the Celtic manager who delivered nine-in-a-row. He is honoured to be the Celtic manager who is leading the team into the 2020/21 season and going for the 10.

It is a chance for Celtic to create football history and he and his players will be all set to go when the new campaign kicks off at the start of August.

And the Irishman knows that the backing of the Celtic support, which has driven the team on to nine successive league titles will be even more vital in the bid for a record-breaking 10-in-a-row.

“We need the fans right with us, even if it’s at a safe distance as it were, on a short-term basis,” Neil Lennon told Celtic TV. “This is momentous. It comes round once in a lifetime and I want this generation of supporters to be a huge part of that, as they always are. I want them to play their part in it and we’ll play our part in entertaining them and making them proud of us.

“It’ll be difficult in the short term, for the supporters and the players not having each other, working hand in hand, but hopefully that period of time will travel quickly and we can get that togetherness and solidarity back again.

“This is a generational thing. This team, and certain individuals in this team, have done some really special, incredible things and we want this to be another season to remember. The anticipation is palpable.

“What i have to do, as a manager, is keep a lid on things, get the players in the best condition possible, but I don’t think they’ll need any extra motivation. And certainly, to have the players and the fans backing us all the way – it’s going to be a * of a ride.

“When we got the trophy for the nine, I could safely say, it’s time to go for the 10 and that’s exactly what we’re planning on doing

The Celtic players will start reporting back at Lennoxtown next week, and initially training will be in small groups of five before, hopefully, that’s extended to allow full training. And having not had that structure since the middle of March, Neil Lennon and his players are looking forward to returning to some semblance of football normality.

“We start doing the medical side of things on Monday and Tuesday, we’ll all get tested on Wednesday and, hopefully, we can start in small groups on Thursday,” the manager explained.

“It’ll be groups of five, so we’ll have two groups in the morning, two groups at lunchtime and two in the afternoon, so we’ll get to see them all. We haven’t seen them for a while, you tend to miss them and miss that camaraderie and atmosphere around the place.

“There will be certain protocols – for example, they can’t go in the building, so everything will be done outside, which is fine, and we’re just delighted that we can have sort of semblance of training.

“We have a target now of the first week in August to start back and all those plans are now coming to fruition that the club has been working on these past few months.

“In terms of the recruitment processes, they’re all underway now, and in terms of adding to the squad and talking to clubs, again, it’s sort of early days but we’ve made tentative inroads as regards that as well.

“Just getting the players back, getting them familiar with the atmosphere, the training and surroundings again, that’s all going to be important, but we need to be patient with that as well.

“So, although we’ve got a June 11 start, hopefully within a week or two, we can start training in bigger groups and all that is for the process of getting ready for the first week in August.

“Honestly, I got a real buzz coming up the Celtic Park track, and the pitch looks beautiful. The pitches up at Lennoxtown look all fresh and ready to go, so that whets the appetite for getting back into it.”
