Why don't Celtic give the choice of refund or using what would be a refund as a deposit on next season's season ticket.

I’m assuming we’ll be given those options. We’ll either be able to withdraw the money back into our own bank account or use it as part-payment I’m guessing.

For those that are rooked in the current scenario or that otherwise wouldn't be able to afford to renew for 20/21 without the deduction then I completely understand taking it but I hope those that don't need the refund think long and hard about it.

We have 52,000 season ticket holders so if every one of them take an on average £100 refund, you're talking about £5.2m going out the club.

The impact of doing that in the current climate when we will already have taken a big hit from the pandemic could be colossal. It could be the difference in us selling an Edouard or a McGregor or not being able to re-sign a Forster.

I completely agree. I hope they give people the option to voluntarily not take the refund.

Personally I’m lucky enough to still be receiving a full wage, so worst case for me I’ll spend my refund money in the Celtic store and put it back into the club that way.

    I was thinking this too.

I’m not familiar with the payment plans available but I’d like to see some more leniency to renewals next season if people are struggling.

I’ve not had a season ticket through the 10 but it would be a sickener for someone who has had one all this time to miss the 10 because they’ve lost money in the pandemic.

Well there’s definitely nothing on the official site or even the SLO’s twitter. I personally would rather they just gave us the qualifying rounds free but everyone will be different.

Sign into your account then click account, account management then account cashback.

It will show a zero balance just now, but I can only assume it’s for refunds.

I wouldn't mind being able to use it in the celtic store as some of the new adidas gear will be outstanding money stays in the club. You get the new Clobber win win in some cases

Better than taking a cash refund but the club would still lose millions of £s in merch if everyone did this.

Yeah can see the point of that but also means we don't lose 5.2 million and will still sell more merch this way as top is 50 sheets by it's self if you've got a family etc spend more that a 100

Yep, I understand it's expensive for families and the decision will lie with everyone on what they do.

Just my opinion but ideally anyone taking a cash or merch refund would absolutely need it.

We're already going to be taking a mammoth hit from this, so more money going out the club and/or less coming from merch (if people using credits instead of cash that they would've used) will only weaken us going forward.

I would rather not take anything but given the choice I would rather get it to use in the celtic store as I could easily spend more than a hundred sheets with kits jacket etc is more my point then they're losing a bit in some respects.

but gaining more than refunding fans cash and * probably try offset some it by putting up the prices for any european package which comes out.

Again Just my opinion but seems more logical as the money is staying in the club in some ways losing on merch in short term. lots more will buy merch than just 60'000
