    The fact Hibs have named a price is concerning! The fact it’s £1.5m is doubly concerning can see this gathering pace (no pun intended) as the window draws to a close.

    why not offer them shved on loan to see how he is as per of it if we are that interested

    Taylor, hendry, morgan, cifcti, Mackay Steven, allan, hayes vs Christie, Armstrong.

    Recent history indicates a trend of a higher % of failure or distinctly average. You're going pretty far back to reference successes, even then for every Robson, Hartley Agathe there was a Riordan, killen and flood.

    We need better than this if we are to ensure NIAR. Players that will go straight into contention not bog standard spl squad fillers.

    Putting Taylor in the same bracket as the other players you have quoted is extremely premature and narrow minded. The boy looks a player, just needs to get a run of games and I'm pretty sure he will be our starting LB.

    On topic, I don't actually think Martin Boyle is a bad player - very quick, direct and scores goals however I still think we should be aiming for better.

    Yes, but so far we have spent £2M on a player who has made about 3 appearances and is generally behind an ageing, average LW for his position. So, "currently" he absolutely deserves to be mentioned in that company, but this isn't about him.
