I don't listen to anything he says regarding transfers I get the impression he knows as much as us

 

Still can't stick him when it comes to transfers.

Just tells everyone what they want to hear regardless of whether there is any truth in it or not.

 

Mental int it how time flies. Although I didnt want lenny first choice if you flick back to the time he actually was appointed you'll see a sudden influx of absolute * , I'm 100% behind the gaffer

He did mention patience , but it's like asking a kid to wait on xmas with our support , and x 100 this year as there is a lot at stake .
I remember saying at the start of the season, any damage to our aspirations will probably come from within and not being able to keep.our * together as fans .
This is gonna be the toughest one in a long time and if we do it , it will be the sweetest ,keep calm stay together and take everything you read with a pinch of salt .

 

Just checked my calendar, it's January 12th . All the people getting their knickers in a twist should wait a wee while and see what pans out. Looking across other leagues all over Europe, there's not very much business being done, so far. I wonder if the fans of other clubs become as anxious as our support do, every transfer window.

 

I wonder what would happen if he said only outgoing transfers are likely to happen this window.

I mean, Celtic fans haven't been quick to do mass protests over transfers in the past decade.

The way things are, we have this weird relationship where both the board and the fans are dishonest. Board (and the manager) regurgitate empty, worn-out lines, while the fans quietly accept it, happily buying season tickets and everything is business as usual.

Sorry - but these comments always make me laugh. I remember that, before NL was given the job, people were saying that he wouldn't take it unless he had assurances from PL and/or that we wouldn't tolerate any interference from PL. What a load of BS.

That's one of the reasons NL got the job. He was hardly in demand after his record at Bolton and Hibs - PL knew that, if he appointed NL, he would toe the party line and, thus far, that is exactly what he has done.

I don't like the way Rodgers left - however, it is clear that that the beginning of the end was PL low balling Hibs and failing to get McGinn (who would have walked from Edinburgh to sign for us), It was clear that Rodgers wasn't going to tolerate PL acting as a DoF and wanted out.

NL knows that he owes his job to PL and you'll be waiting a long time for him to say or do anything to upset him.
