If thats the case then why hasn't Lenny seen that and played a extra man in midfield and think slippy is using tactics to stifle our midfield and Lenny needs to find a way to beat this .

Guys we as fans need to collectively let our board know this ain't good enough.trouble is the only thing that can get their attention is to boycott a game but our fans are so divided or stupid enough to remain un United and the board can shaft us again.boycott a Scottish cup home game just once a I assure you the * Tory board would listen up.but we fans don't stand together over our board. We get what we deserve.i would take 2 draws against the huns that's how far we have regressed.forget 10 iar that aint happening with this penny pinching board.HH

The thing is the fans won't forgive the board if they don't bring in quality players in this transfer window .
We must have in the bank between 40 to 50 million in the bank at present and they must back Lenny to reach the magic 10 in a row .

What are we boycotting for then?
Not happy at having won ten trophies in a row?
    Losing a game to sevco?
Qualifying earliest ever for the knockout stages in europe?
I hate losing to sevco but jeezo get a grip mate.

We deffo need someone who can consistently deliver a good cross from open play, corners and free kicks..

Someone who can skin a player 1 on 1 with a real bit of pace or power as well..

Ridiculous post. The board set targets, them targets have been met. We have just one 3 trebles in a row, 10 trophies one after the other, great year in Europe. The board aren't going to throw big money in this window I don't think, especially after backing Lenny in the summer

Time to spend some of that cash at bank..

    Ideally

    Forster (perm)
    Elyonoussi (perm)
ST x 2 - (Griff or Bayo, maybe both going out on loan)
    CB
    DM
RW - Forrest needs rest and competition, would like some physicality in that position.

Why buy elyounoussi or Forster now? It would likely mean paying more salary. It would be cheaper to buy in the summer. Right now concentrate on a defender and a striker

Probably because by the summer itll take pete months to negotiate 50p off the bill and theyll be missing from preseason and champions league qualifiers.

I think they will both continue to make an impact and will cost more in the summer..

It shouldn’t stop us adding a defender and a striker.. but aye in reality..

If the players are here then I think they will be having talks with them instantly as soon as the season finishes if not before. However we know the board will spend not more than 8m in this window.
With elyounoussi we also need to see how he is recovering from injuries. I don't think we should spend £9m on a player who is not able to play 40 games a season

Slightly OT here, but maybe Celtic should be thinking of sending the troops to an alternative training camp this window?

It's the same every window, and the board know it.

We will take ages to do anything this window, the fans will grumble and then some will say "wait till end of the window".
To which we will get a project, a 2-3million random player from the back end of no where and a loan deal.
The board will claim Johnston signing a new deal is like a new player.
    People will happily clap along.
Then in a few months time once the fans all realise they've been taken for a mug, the moaning about the previous window being * will start again. We realise we shouldn't have wasted the money on a loan, a project and a experimental player and that we should have just signed someone for 6million and be done with it.

We then start claiming the next window is most important and that we need the business done early in the summer...we won't...we go through the same motion and then claim next winter is when we need to get players in for the qualifiers....we won't.

    Rinse and repeat.

Yer probably right lol, but the difference this time is it could cost us the League, so with that in mind i think we will spend money this window, just need to hope it's the right type of players who will be able to make an impact straight away.
