More chance of signing Victor Meldrew than Victor Wanyama

There's probably a good chance that if spurs want him off the wage bill then they'll give him a pay off to help with a likely drop in the wages

If he was close to a move to Belgium surely there's a chance

I wonder how close it actually was or was his agent using it to try and drum up interest from other clubs in better leagues.

    Here the whole time
Why do we need wanyama? Hes not going displace broony, and if we play with him and broony are we not going to be a bit too deep. Its not really like we were out muscled in the 2 games against them, we were simply outplayed.

The goals we conceded were stupid ones to give away and could have been avoided by having a more competent CB in place than ajer.

It's the goals we're not scoring the chances we're not creating that is surely a more pressing issue than the few we're conceding.
More urgent needs are surely another striker, a new LW and a new CB. If another mid is to be brought in it should be a number 10 type, someone who can operate in crowded areas and make things happen when the team is being pressed. That's what we lacked in the last 2 games.

It's not so much the goals we lost but the lack of balls we won in the middle of the park and surely Wanyama would help with that. While McGregor looks great most of the time in beside Brown, he's struggled before in games against them when they have 2/3 physical midfielders to our 1.

If the Huns are going all in on a back up striker's loan wages then there's no reason we shouldn't do the same.

Maybe mate but he's the best we've got in the middle where's there no room. Seems to excel when there's a lack of space.
