I think it'll be scrappy for the first 20 mins till the game settles down. That kind of territorial battles suits us anyway, they can't match our intensity. That's how we won at Ibrox, straight from kick-off Eddy launched the ball out for a throw-in over at their corner and we just hemmed them in.

 

Honestly i thought i'd be more nervous for this but i'm fairly calm. If Davis is out for them they've pretty much lost the guy who controls their midfield, as his replacement Aribo is *. Their defence won't be able to handle Edouard, Christie, Forrest, Elyounoussi/Johnston and Mcgregor coming at them. Still need to be wary of their antics, especially Kent and Morelos, but if we turn up then it'll be comfortable.

 

They'll come out the traps fast, need to contain them first 15/20. Big pitches suit our players and should have enough to see them off and keep them contained. Not expecting a high scoring game, 2-0 win

 

That wee triangle heided * will be diving and rolling about all over the pitch, that's the only way they can get a result out of this, a dodgy penalty and a sending off.
If we play to our capabilities our pace up front will absolutely destroy them. If we score within the first 15 minutes I can see it ending up 4-1.

Having said that, I'd settle for a 1-0, 90th minute goal.

Davis will play. This is their attempt at mind games.

 

I feel like all we need to do is apply a high amount of intensity and just make sure we don’t get and red cards. Don’t give them any excuse.

They can’t live with us if we keep the tempo up.

Part of that is ensuring we don’t go into a defensive mindset for any extended period. We’re an attacking side and their defence is poor if you stay on them. Keep working the ball forward quickly and they’ll collapse.
