Let us know how you get on

Couldn't face that long-term but heard some people have decent success with it over a short period.

Hi folks. Bought some weights for the house and was wanting a bench. Any recommendations?

Seen this on online, which is more expensive than the older mode but let’s you sit up straight:

JX FITNESS Weight Bench Adjustable Incline Decline Flat Workout Bench 90 Degree Upright Home Training Sit up Gym Bench

I’m a bit of a noob when it comes to this so any help would be great.

Been getting ideas off of these sites...again, just basic ones I can do in the house so if anyone has any better ideas just let me know!:

That bench will be sound. You don’t need to fork out on a bench. One that allows you to sit up is a bonus.

Main thing to focus on is correct form, so look that up. Correct form helps avoid injuries and works the targeted muscles more.

Yeah only thing I’m worried about is my back, which means I’m starting lighter... and it’s a double edge sword cause I’m too self cautious to do it as the gym (just do resistance weights instead). I know no one gives a * what weight it is, but still...

Lighter weights are fine, just do higher reps. :50:

Buy a second hand one ,thing is people buy them with good intentions but stop using them after awhile and put them up on websites to sell them.

Most of the time their in perfect nick and hardly ever used and there a lot cheaper.

Only reason for a new one in Amazon is quick delivery. Where you reckon...maybe eBay?

Really depends what’s in the shake. Where did you get yours from?

I don't know the specific names but I've tried a few and some of them are wild. Not far off MDMA.

Heart going like the clappers, cold sweats, whole time you're in the gym ends up a blur.

A few years back I used to gub them at 3.45 in work so that they hit me by the time I was going in the gym just after 4. Done it one day and got pulled aside to help with a case before I could shoot out the door. Sat for 40 minutes toe-tapping, pishing sweat, rattlin' like Bez from Happy Mondays.

You'll do extra reps definitely but I'm not convinced it's worth it :celtman2:

A strong cup of coffee is my pre-workout, then I just make sure I get a good meal afterwards, full of veg and protein. Used to use creatine and protein shakes but for me personally, it was a waste of money. Supplements can and do work, but I just think they’re an unnecessary expense where you can get the same benefits from a good diet.
