My take on this, I'm 40 something, make no mistake this is as a pivotal year in our history as I can remember for a long time, it's up there with stopping their 10. Some may agree or disagree but it's what I think. Make no mistake I can feel many outlets gathering momentum to do their best to usurp us. Officialdom, regulators, the media...even the daily rag had a piece this week about a super computer that predicted the orcs will win the league ffs! This will only continue to gather pace.

As fans we need to be better than ever, we need the GB! 100% we need all the other fans to do their bit too, home and away, sing that bit louder, be that bit more defiant, siege mentally its us against everycunt.

We need awe inspiring Tifos, displays, songs at full pelt.....we don't need senseless distractions over daft fireworks and fines and some * in some place wanting the GB punished. If they could they will, I have no doubt.

I truly believe pyro doesn't add anything meaningful at all, but 11 orcs coming out on dembelition day and seeing a human tricolour, with the wave of noise behind is sphincter tightening. Scarier than any Roman candle.

If we are all united as one, and choose the correct battles we will win the war...no problem. We need the GB this year more than ever, let's not give those who would damage us a sniff at * us about.

The obvious thing you're missing is that the UEFA ban is on ALL smoke-bombs/pyros. They do not differentiate between "safe" and "unsafe". Their competition, their rules.

 

I know they have a ban on pyros i wasnt missing that,but it seemed to me some people were saying safe pyros were accepted and i was wondering how the officials could tell the difference and now i know.

 

I personally think we're in a real title race for the first time in a almost a decade. Seems obvious to me. Think we'll probably win it, but that "probably" is not just me hedging.

A lot will depend on injuries and also the January window. A bad injury to Eddy or McGregor and the Huns strengthen and we don't, we could lose it... Everyone stays fit and we strengthen too and we should be fine.
