I can't decide on voting for Vert or Sean, Taking vert reduces the night kills obviously but taking Sean now tells us more when he flips. Plus I'm convinced there will have been a mafia Godfather role.

 

You can't trust a serial killer, no matter what he says. Got to reduce the risk of kills from 2 to 1 and either Marie or myself will get a read on Sean tonight.

Either way I think town should win from here. 2 mafia down, another 2 in Aidan and sean/che, and SK vert. Can't be much more than that

 

Wish someone chose kingmaker so we could’ve ended this day ages ago.

 

Surely it's telling that I had the option to hammer vote Vertie when he was L-1 (knowing he was SK) and elected not to take it?

If I was scum I would've jumped on that immediately. 1. to avoid being lynched myself and 2. to help scum in the long run.

Taking Vertie takes it from 2 kills to 1 but those aren't necessarily 2 Town kills.

 

Anyone who's town should want the SK dead in every circumstance

I’ve said that I'm happy to refrain from killing anyone. You can lynch me tomorrow and hold it against me in future games if I renege. (And if I were to kill someone, I might just as easily kill a scum player; the Mafia will only kill town players.)

You will have to kill me eventually, obviously, but there is no danger of me making it to the end of the game. Lynching me now, when you have the Mafia in your sights, would be a huge wasted opportunity.

Where are your after today when I flip Serial Killer? The exact same place you are now.

 

If everyone is set on lynching me today, that's fine, but don't be rushed into the night phase.

No one has yet explained why, according to Dazza, Town has two (accurate) investigations a night - one of which (his) is incredibly detailed - plus a Town JOAT with the ability to investigate someone once.

Have you every played a Mafia game in which Town (could have) returned three accurate investigations in one night?

Che and Seán both claim Town Doctor. One of them is lying.

 

You would say that

Vert, if we keep you alive you will do something rash in the night, no doubt about it.

Between you, Aidan and sean/che we have plenty of avenues to go down. If we have exhausted all of the above and the game is still going then yes people will probably start looking at me. However I suspect the game will be over by that point.

 

And if Marie is town then only keano can explain why there are 2 investigative roles. I guess as they're offered out there's always the chance that one doesn't get picked. Also, there were 3 SKs offered out and a mafia absorber - if they all got accepted then even 2 investigation roles might not have been enough for town to win. And also we don't know what powers the joat had, they can change from game to game

 

I guarantee that I won't.

A reminder that you:

• claim to be Clarice Starling from Silence of the Lambs (a psychological thriller, rather than a horror film)
• claim to be a sane Town Investigator, with the ability to investigate people's alignments and roles in a game with a confirmed sane Town Cop and a confirmed sane Town JOAT (two town investigations a night, plus one for luck; the game should have been a breeze!)
• claim to have investigated the Mafia Doctor on Night One, but waited until I had made a false claim about Aidan on Day Four to reveal information, despite Town suffering heavy losses
• then voted for Idioteque instead of Aidan on the basis of my false claim (which was inherently flawed) on the basis that a Mafia Doctor cannot harm town players

 

If you are Town, and were willing to let the Mafia Doctor survive at least three night phases after you had investigated him, you deserve to be lynched anyway, to be honest.

If Aidan is the Mafia Doctor as you're claiming him to be then his target will be Town, Vertie could target either scum or Town. Any Townie should be preferring the latter...

 

Not initially over scum, given they are a lone role and can target both scum and town.

If we keep a scumbo in they will 100% try to kill a Townie.

If we keep Vertie in he is almost just as likely to kill scum as he is a Townie (maybe slightly less as there'll be more Townies than scum at this point) but still <100% to Target a Townie and therefore should be preferable to any Town player.

Has Dazza character revealed ? I think he did last night but there is pages to re-read and I have stuff today just now.

 

I'm tempted to say I will not vote for you based on the understanding you kill me and end this * nightmare for me tbh
