Just read up on it. @Minty I think you need to explain that role choice as it isn't something I'd go for. SK is a really good strong role.

 

I feel Minty would play the most interesting role, like myself.

 

I'd definitely take a scum or lone role if it's more fun to play than a pish Town role aye.. However the best win are when you have a good Town role and help with a win.

 

Pretty much my thought process too. Minty is not adverse to picking a strong role over a town one either imo

 

I think that we should wait and see if Minty sends fruit to someone. If scum roleblock him in order to frame him, it leaves a town-aligned player with a power role free to use it.

 

Wait, couldn't a scum player just say that Minty sent him or her fruit?

 

We won't really have a strong read on Minty in that case until the person he sends fruit to flips as town or has a very strong claim.

 

But if he's scum, and the Town Fruit Vendor claim is false, he could coast through until the person who claims to have received the fruit flips as scum. (I guess if several people receive fruit, his claim becomes more credible, although maybe not if there are Mafia Fruit Vendors.)

In short, I have no idea what to make of his claim, or how to proceed.

There is no need to rush a lynch on him though.

 

Aye, I've been swayed by them before only for them to flip as scum.

Hopefully we get something to go on, in a poor position already after the last night phase. Don't want to lose another town player this early.

 

I can only talk for myself, but I know I'm town. I can't see Minty taking a vendor role over SK. That makes me think he's scum or he's lying.

If someone DOES receive fruit then it still doesn't prove he isn't scum.

If there is no concrete evidence to go on from an investigative role I'll take a punt on Minty as the best choice after that.

 

I would like to hear from @Minty before I place a vote though.

Why fruit vendor over SK and why reveal - particularly when your claim can't be verified.

 

I don't expect anyone to trust me until I'm proven town, but my thought process is correct. With nothing else to go on - Minty's role choice leaves him open to being targeted as potential scum.
