Over the summer there was nothing from Celtic about the pyro, they used it to try and help justify shutting the section which never worked as the backlash from it proved. Pyro has been about before the green brigade were formed and if we were to ever chuck it would still be involved.

Think your missing the point, if the section is closed then it benefits nobody.

As I say it about the club exerting it's authority over that section.

I don't really care about Pyro one way or the other, it seems to be about showing how 'Ultra' the GB are, when in reality it will probably end up in the section being closed.

And if that happens it would be a shame and its the team who will suffer. For what a 2min picture opportunity?

It's a completely rational, normal reaction, from both sides of the argument. And most are able to speak about the issue with pretty reasoned responses.

Whilst some people do complain about the smoke, so far, discussion/moaning has focused around fines for the club and potential repercussions.

Why is it so funny? In fact, don't answer that, you'll probably fire a wee ninja edit in anway

    LOL :56: :56: :56:

I'm all for it, and if it just remains a poxy fine and not section closure I don't see why it should stop.

Maybe use the safe ones though, as I don't want to see someone get hurt.

This is the other thing people always say with regards to the pyro. It's such a nothing statement I could just as easily say the overwhelming majority of grounds in Europe don't have flares therefore supporters not having flares 'happens all the time'

It might have looked good, but the fact is we've been punished for it many times now and deciding to be 'rebellious' and do it again is just another moronic way to get another fine.

I like it..nowhere near what it's like in Europe in a lot of leagues. A fine is probs on the way but the section will never be closed for pyro use.. e
sp the amount that is used..only by the club if it did happen, not by uefa.last nights Scandinavian Derby is maybe worth crying about but not ours last night.

No doubt in some aspects they are doing it for global attention, but is there really a problem with that? The club spent ('wasted' as you would call it) 4m on a light show that got boring after 2 games, Green Brigade over the past couple of years have probably cost under 100 grand in fines and created a much better spectacle home and away. Only concern is stadium closure, which I highly doubt when we literally had some * run onto the pitch against PSG and try to kick one of the worlds most expensive players and they gave us a 9000 pound fine:celtman2:.

Only negative about our support last night was some racist * who rightly got his head kicked in, let's hope we don't also get reported for racism because of one *. Thinking about it though, why do the (GB) only do pyros in Europe? I don't think the SFA have ever fined us for it, if UEFA do step up their charges then we should stop it in Europe and only do it domestically.

So the GB have possibly cost Celtic under 100 grand in fines over the years. Such a pishy small amount why do the GB not pay the fines.
