12 grand fine or so is worth it for the pyro- Eboue Kousassi get's paid that for sitting on his * doing nothing. People saying it puts shame to our club, when if anything all I've seen is other clubs fans saying it looks class.

We will also get a bigger fine for the players bookings v Rennes than we will for pyro, its a wild argument.

Aw well, if it gets a few likes on an Ultras Instagram page then it's all worth it then.

It's hard to argue with your other part, if we're wasting money on something then any other waste of money under that amount is worth it...:39:

Mate, you seem to be involved or close to the GB. Any reason why they continue to do something they've been asked to stop?

I understand stadium rules also say you can't go in if your drunk yet many of us do it. So I'm anticipating a similar response. And in terms of the fines for the bookings, that's really not the same thing now is it? A late tackle or mouthing off in the heat of a football match is hardly a premeditated act like smuggling in some pyro to a stadium to let off.

We continue to do it because it creates an atmosphere, the response it got last night and the response its had from Celtic fans online since last night prove that. The club/UEFA dont want fans to do alot of things, if we were to go on their 'rulebook' then we'd all be sitting on our hands the full game.

The response from the Club/UEFA will be to close that section, so there’ll be no * there to create the atmosphere.

Cheers, I assumed that was the case. BTW, I'm not here to have a go, it's refreshing to actually hear from you guys outwith a statement or banner :50:

In terms of a partial stadium closure, if it were to happen, what would you say to those who aren't GB members who may miss out on a game because they have a ticket in 111?

UEFA have never and will never close a section for pyro, if Celtic want to start doing that then thats up to them.

Partial stadium closure wont happen for pyro from UEFA, the only time that will ever happen (doubt it will) is if Celtic decide thats what they want to do. IF they ever decide to do that then we'd expect Celtic not to ban the people who arent involved with the group.

The ban a couple of seasons ago was more to do with banners/overcrowding at Linfield than pyro.

No, Celtic included that in their statement to close the section to help justify it. If pyro was the issue then they could have quite easily had the section shut for Linfield.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I don't understand how flares, smoke bombs or any other pyro look "cool as *" or create an atmosphere.

Save it til the 5th of November and go to a firework show.

The Hears game and the pyro game were definitely a factor for the club and then the UEFA sanctions were the tipping point..

It was about the club exercising their authority over the GB..

All it will take is more fines for Pyro from UEFA and the club will likely take the same action, it just seems an unnecessary gamble.
