Oh, I just read about what it was that made Jon Waters cry. In general I like Keane, but criticising him for that, he genuinely needs professional help.

Roy Keane will never step into big club management for one reason, his mouth. I actually was glued to the interview when I just popped in to see what it was about. He is brilliant viewing and the reason he gets asked for analysis on big games. I do think he can be completely unfair and tactless with his talk and none more so than this interview. He will sell * loads of his book again on the back of it. You can see Neville is uncomfortable with a lot of his views.

I actually don’t believe so. Fergie is one of the most pig headed people in football and the ultimate betrayal by rangers was his treatment of him for marrying a catholic. Always turns up for Celtic events and speaks highly and probably the reason huns hate him.

I'd recommend watching the videos RR. Doesn't really matter what your opinion on Keane is they are quite compelling. In some ways reminded me of the infamous George Best on Wogan. Obviously Keane wasn't * but he was always going to be controversial and although they did nothing wrong in either case the actual presenters were pretty much superfluous.

By the way, I think the entire interview is really worth a watch. It's honestly really good, believe me he doesn't come across bitter and angry for the entirety of the interview, in fact he does quite a bit of joking in it too. I do like the stuff about his time as Ireland assistant saying how much he enjoyed it and how he doesn't really look back with any regret. He's even smiling when he's talking about the Italy game.

I think Roy's main problem is that he holds grudges, if he feels wronged he'll really hold onto it, in general I think came across reasonably well. He also talks about keeping his family entirely separate in football.

I think his honesty is really refreshing when we so often see people sugar coat things, even when he says stuff I don't necessarily agree with I'd rather see more people say what they really feel than what some do.

Keane is box office, but certainly not everyone's cup of tea. :84:

Never liked the guy and his short spell with us was just to sell football tops and tick a box in Keanes bucket list . He certainly did not add anything to the team.

Just delved back into some old reports there and they are an absolute stick on for Roy being a sociopath. I’m not even joking the guy is in a shell. He met with Strachan at Desmond’s house in London and Strachan was giving it “we don’t need you, we are O.K. If you don’t sign.” He thought just to spite Strachan “* it I’m signing” knocking back Butragueno at Madrid and Moyes at Everton. When Andy Goram joined United on loan he was introduced to the players and Steve McLaren introduced him to Keane and Goram went to shake his hand. Roy Keane looked at him, Goram said “there’s no point, is there?” Keane said “No” and the two never uttered a word to each other. Also said he loved the hatred of the atmosphere at Ibrox when him and Lenny bossed it.

I'm not a psychologist, I don't know if you're right or not about him being a sociopath; but what I do feel sure of is that if you can criticise a guy for crying on TV because of that, you definitely do need professional help. I haven't cried for 20 years and any one of those 3 things would make me cry, let alone all three.

Doesn't mean I don't like him anymore or that I think any less of him; but he needs help. Seriously.

Walters brother died and then his wife lost a baby in the same week and his daughter also got diagnosed with illness and Keane was having a dig about Walters family problems and him crying on tv about it.

No one could hold it against him in the circumstances; but it solves nothing and leads nowhere.

Never actually noticed the Walters stuff. He needs a slap for that.
