Dave Chappelle: Sticks and Stones might be my favourite special of his.

Reminded me of George Carlin’s stuff.

    It's brilliant.

Did you sit through the credits at the end? There is a 20 minute extra part after it ends.

Nah mate as soon as it ‘finished’ I turned it off. Will give it another watch over the weekend.

The opening 10 minutes were * amazing about his pal and Anthony Bourdain :56:

It's him doing a show on Broadway two weeks after filming the special. Does a q and a with the crowd. Quite good.

The stuff about Michael Jackson was hilarious as well but really uncomfortable. I like that in comedy though.

Always loved Bill Hicks. Early Connolly stuff was unreal. Go on you tube and search Billy Connolly Atlantic Bridge. Hilarious.

Saw Tom Segura in Manchester a couple of weeks ago. Outstanding. If you haven’t seen him he’s got 3 specials on Netflix and the new one will be out in a couple of months.

Aye, that and your moms house are both class. Saw Bert Kreischer when he was in Glasgow.

Can’t wait for the special to come out.

Young Connolly was THE game-changer in British stand-up.

Watched some Tom Segura recently on the back of recommendations in this thread.

It's weird because I like his message but somehow social justice warrior just isn't funny.

He would make a good popular politician but his comedy is too right on for me.

Billy Connolly is the untouchable king of stand up for me.

There’s never been anyone like him and never will be. The embodiment of Glaswegian humour packaged up in arguably the funniest man that ever lived.
