Yeah, I remember how revolutionary it all seemed at the time. Still one of my favourite ever films.

Takes ages and loads of kitchen towel as well.

I normally wrap it up with the kitchen towel then put the big soup pot filled with water on top to help press it and drive out the water/brine

The Ebor festival is so called as it was an abbreviated version of Eboracum, the Latin name for York.

The city of Baltimore U.S gets its name from the Irish term Baile an Tí Mhóir, meaning town of the big house.

Carrots aren't naturally orange, their natural colour is purple. The colour was changed as a tribute to the Dutch house of orange. (The Hairy Bikers)

If it’s a credit card, you’re borrowing the money, that’s why there’s interest on it.

Got 2 new tyres fitted to the car this week , less than a day they were both soft . Went back the guy says" aye your alloy rims were no the best the air is escaping from there " fekkin whit !!! I said did youse wire brush them before you fitted the tyres " " naw " :47: went to another fitter who took the tyres off for me and I rubbed down the rims with a D A sander primed them , guy fitted the tyres back on, perfect ! a fekkin wire brush at the start would have done the same job !!!
