Aye but if he'd left the day before the huns game in January, they go on to win and go level on points while we have no manager, scrambling in January with no Lennon to turn to as he's still at Hibs. Same if he leaves early in the January window when he was falling out with the board over recruitment.

Not that he wasn't 100% a * the way he left anyway :56: Just thinking saying the timing was of maximum damage isn't true.

He left just a couple of days after we were papped out of Europe, the squad could easily have imploded after that.

He didn't have the offer at that point though. We're splitting hairs anyway mate, he's a rodent and if there's any truth that he came in with a deadline day bid for McGregor it only further confirms the contempt he holds the club in.

For those saying that the timing that he left while we had a treble treble on the horizon justifies the hatred, then does he not deserve any respect for putting a treble treble on a plate?

ME on working with Neil Lennon: "I want to become a better player and I know he can make me a better player, from what I’ve heard, and the way Celtic play football will suit me very well.

Praise? Aye and he got plenty of it, universally.

Respect? No chance, that's a 2-way street and he certainly didn't show it to either the support or the club with his antics. * him.

But the Rat sent us backwards in Europe, have we ever had a manager with such a poor home record in Europe,do not think so. The Rat’s last game in charge in Europe was a disgrace.
Lenny is facing actual true pressure from the Huns, proper pressure in which he can thrive.
The Rat does not love our Club and Lenny loves Celtic deeply and this season will face a much bigger challenge than the Rat ever did.
I have kinda forgot the Rat was ever at Celtic.

So he deserves no respect because of the time he left I take it? He left us in the strongest possible position anyone could.

Yeah I was pretty angry at the time as well but would the anger have really been less if he left at the end of the season? It would’ve left us 3 weeks to get a new manager in for the CL qualifiers which is the most important part of our season.

There is no point of speculating about things we don’t know either regarding Callum McGregor or anything else because rumours grow arms and legs and become acceptable when they are part of an agenda.

Rodgers did secure Champions League football in his first two seasons...

I’d say Rodgers across the whole was better in Europe than Lennon has been.

Cue the “PSG would never score 5 goals at Celtic Park” patter....

After losing 4 goals to Cluj!

The rat lost all respect when he walked out on us, not just from Celtic supporters, his decision to do that tells you a lot about him as a man, if he can do that to the team that he is supposed tae love then he can do it to any club, therefor he can never be trusted and has rubber stamped his reputation as a bullshitter.

Mate, do you really think that? Usually people have to be consistently bad or sly to start getting pelters. Apart from Cluj, which he got deserved criticism for (including from me), Lenny has actually done a fantastic job. He also did an outstanding job the first time he was here. Overall, I don't see why he gets so much criticism. It genuinely baffles me at times.

It always seems to be people who have been brilliant for us and who really get the club too: Lenny, Broony, Lustig, Sammy, even Boruc at times ... People say the media doesn't influence them, yet it's always guys like this that the Huns hate that we turn on the moment they screw up one time (like Lenny against Cluj) or get old (Lustig and Broony). In Lenny's case actually long before he screwed up.

Just purely from a statistical point of view, what is the a priori probability of that?

Rodgers... I think most people are pretty fair in their assessment of Rodgers: an unbelievably good coach who is also a bullshitter, a liar and cares about no one but himself. That's not open season, that's just the truth.

I got slaughtered on here for suggesting 'The Rat' shat it when Gerrard came up here.
I still truly believe this....imagine Rat lost the league last year ....fukin reputation would have been in tatters...that * shat it all right....The Huns were too close for comfort.
He fukin ran so he did...first serious challenge and he bricked it.

And that terrible performance in his last game in charge for us in Europe also the very bad attempt at attempting to get in the CL Group Stages in the Rat’s last season.
Yes we all know how * off we all were about the way we went out of the CL Group Stages I for one Bhoy was beyond angry.
But hey remember went Basel stopped us from getting into the CL Group Stages.
I think come April Lenny our European efforts will have improved vastly.

Not all down the timing he left but it's a large part of it.

    • Lying about Danny McGrain to inflate his own ego.
    • Talking to teams behind our back (deal signed with Leicester within 20 mins of him arriving) "everything just came about so quickly"
    • Threatening to resign if we accepted a mind-bogglingly generous offer for a CB who was out of contract in 10 months.
    • Refusing moves for Boyata, Dembele & Ntcham to earn more money despite saying in the past it was unfair to do that....then doing it himself
    • Picking understrength teams at difficult away venues to make points to the board
If you want to respect him then fire away but I suggest you're in the minority.

Rodgers puts himself #1. Lennon puts Celtic Football Club #1.

He was told he could join Leicester at the end of the season. He could have told our board room of his intentions to leave at the seasons end to give them plenty of time to look for a new manager, but he didn't. He left with a treble treble and a potential title race on the horizon, forcing our board to scramble for a temporary manager. Not only that he took most of the staff he brought with him and tried to gut the entirety of the backroom staff to leave us with absolutely * all half way through a season, forcing us to promote youth coaches to first team positions. Not only that he is now loaning players to the scum. * him, he was a great manager domestically when he was here and I'm not going to brush over his history and what he done just because i dont like him. But he should get no respect due to him being a dirty, stinkin, sleekit, two-faced, lying, sociopathic, non-celtic fan, *.

Still think part of the reason was Gerrard...I thought he looked very uncomfortable...sure , I get your point about the coin and the EPL.
