I'd take Tavernier TBH. Until a few days ago, I'd have taken McGregor too. Definitely wouldn't swap him for big Forster, though.

We have better players than them but they've filled their midfield with players that suit their game plan. Davies, Jack and arfield will all close down quickly, tackle and win the ball back, but they don't have the sharp incisive move/pass to break defences down. They rely on crosses into the box and taverner getting forward.

If we can get the ball into edouards feet and he can bring Christie, McGregor, forrest into the game and play the ball on the edge of their box, I think we'll destroy them.

But them guys will run themselves into ground and work harder than our guys.
That was case last time we visited that * hole.
Our guys needs get up for this game.
Think we need hit long balls tomorro and get Edouard running at these *. If they pressing us high. They have be space to get at there defence with few high balls.

Embarrassing that there's folk that actually say stuff like this. You probably owe royalties to super scoreboard for repeating this kind of nonsense.

bookies have then as favourites!? That's printing money . Definitely getting something on that today.

I’m Dublin for it going to take the wee man somewhere for a convenient lunch and hope I can watch the game.

    3-0 Celtic all the way.

I have said, others have said and Lenny has to see it. They will high press and flood the midfield. The way we set up will leave us unable to get to grips with the midfield. It will be their 3 against our 2, Broony will be pushed back almost on top of our defence. They will double up on our wide players stopping any movement going forward isolating our 1 up front, leaving their CBs to control how they go forward. Arfield will run beyond their forwards and put pressure on our CBs whoever that might be. Morelos or Defoe looking to dive at every opportunity.
It is a simple way Slippy has them playing but its the only way they can play. They have no plan B, except for the man in the middle. I expect us to be punished for every tackle we make in the midfield but giving them free reign. This is a big test for Lenny, he has to get his team selection and tactics right after the Cluj nightmare and the fact they beat us at their cesspit last season. We cannot go into this game thinking that our pace and the number of goals we have scored is going to win us this. Its going to be a hard slog but we need to have the right game plan. COYBIG

Huns favourite for tomorrow? Excellent. See how they deal with the pressure of expectation. I'm really looking forward to this one.

They have the crowd behind them, plus they've started the season well and last season has given them the belief and confidence that they can beat us, so it obviously won't be easy. They have a more settled defence than we do, so that may work in their favour tomorrow.

I hope we go there and play quite compact. From what little I've seen, they struggle to play through sides and are quite reliant on crosses. I'd play Brown, but make sure he has people close to him, and would look to let Rangers have the ball in front of us and use our speed on the break where we can really hurt them.

They play Arfield wide right but he spends most of the time in the middle so they often have 4 in there. I wouldn't mind seeing us matching up against that and using Christie in the same way they use Arfield. If we make it a 4 v 4 battle in midfield, I think our quality will eventually come through. Once the came settles and gets stretched we can bring on the likes of Johnston to run at them.

    Something like

McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Katic, Flanagan/Barisic; Jack, Davis, Arribo/Kamara; Arfield, Morelos, Ojo/Jones

    vs

Forster; Bauer, Julien, Ajer/Jozo, Boli; Ntcham, Brown, McGregor; Forrest, Edouard, Christie.

    I'd fancy us.

Good shout to have Christie on the left over Johnston. Can bring Mikey and Elyounoussi off the bench.

Getting a buzz on for this now. Been more interested in the Europa League, even after full time on Thursday, only beginning to think about this now.

That * of a crowd of theirs will have a part to play, some of our players blatantly shat it there on recent visits. Key is to keep the head and cut out any silly bombscare errors.

More anxious than I've ever been about these games, but quietly confident we can still dish out a doing. * mon!!

We cannot let the scum bully us tomorrow.
We have the better football players but they have the bigger stronger players who can physically dominate the game so hopefully our bhoys stand up to them and we don’t get pushed around .
Frustrate the * for the first 25 minutes then start picking out the passes to exploit their lack of football skills and send their fans home miserable.

He played Christie wide against Hearts so it's not out of the question.

Just think we need to win the battle first. The start to the game will be frenzied and we can't have them picking up all the second balls and building momentum that way, which they will if we let them outnumber us.

The truth hurts, he has been *. Cluj should have ended the tie in the first leg because he was so bad but they didn't overload him.

@Artorias he was ropey in the first few games but there have been plenty that have started badly and even worse. Mo Camara's debut was 5-0 v Artmedia and it didn't get a whole lot better over time.

Boli has played his part in goals against Motherwell and AIK, the defensive side needs work but the fact we're constantly chopping and changing the back 4 can't help. I still believe once it's settled he'll come on to a game.

Tomorrow is a big test for him. Concentration is key.

Can we do away with the whole "they have started well" .

Anytime they have come up against something remotely organised they've struggled to break them down.

We go in organised and our guys play to their strengths then I don't care where we are, we are beating every * in Scotland

Yep hayes played well others shat themselves.if we dont start well they will win.its that simple regardless of what lineup we have. But hoping lenny will have them well drilled for it.i agree too that cutting our numbers has been good for the huns.but simply we turn up roll up our sleeves dont let them play and eventually we will be too good for them.HH

    Mental man.

We are at our best controlling a game and thinking on the front foot.

So * up our preffered formation, move one of our most dangerous players to a different position and sit back?

    * that *.
