Really like the look of this guy. He offers something we've been missing up front for quite a while. That gives us three decent options up front now. Wingers in good form. Christie and Rogic (when he's back) vying for the 10 position. Things are looking somewhat ok at the Treble Treble winning Club in Crisis. Get ourselves a left back, perhaps a right back too, and the squad is looking great.

Bayo performance against Hearts just reminds me of the sort of difficult strikers we usually face in the early rounds of qualifiers. Just an absolute handful.

He has got to be given an opportunity to play up top alongside Edouard.

Rangers biggest threat comes from their wing backs, we get him as an out ball up top alongside Edouard, so Eddie can drift out wide and in deep, we'll completely pin them back.

Eddie is never an out ball, we shouldn't be using him to punt long balls up to, he wants the ball in to his feet with someone alongside him to link up with. We saw it in preseason before Dembele left how deadly Eddie could be with a solid partner and I'd * love to see these two together from now on.

I'd just let Eddie play a free roaming role to do whatever he wants, so he can drop deep and make runs in behind for Bayo to flick the ball on to from some of the longer balls we play or venture out left. Would make us so hard to predict and pin down to one style of play and also make the opposition play more compact which would hopefully free up space out wide for the likes of Forrest and Johnstone.

Genuinely got a bit of a buzz back thinking about this yesterday, just depends on how Lennon approaches the game I suppose.

Seeing him score those types of goals is encouraging, something Edouard doesn't do enough.

Cant see him being our first choice, certainly not when Edouard is around.

CELTIC cruised to a 3-1 victory over Hearts at the weekend to maintain their 100 per cent start to the Premiership season. And Ivorian striker, Bayo, marked his first start for the Hoops with a Man of the Match performance and a strong claim on two of Celtic’s three goals.

The opening goal came in the first-half, with James Forrest lofting the ball into the box. Bayo and Hearts captain, Christophe Berra, both went for the ball, and it was bundled into the back of the net.

After Callum McGregor scored a stunning second-half strike, Bayo was once again involved in the third goal. This time it was a Kris Ajer cross which the Celtic striker and Hearts defender, Craig Halkett, attacked. Again, the ball ended up in the back of the net, and as far is Bayo is concerned, he has opened his scoring account with a double.

Speaking after the game, the 22-year-old striker said: “I haven’t started since I came so I’m really happy, and happy with the team performances as well.

“I touched the ball for the first goal. The defender also touched it but I got the last touch. The principle role of a striker is to score goals. Even if you don’t score you can still help the team. I don’t mind the pressure of having to score. I should have scored the other chance to get a hat-trick, and the manager told me this as well.

“The fans were happy with the two goals and I’ve been waiting on this moment. Since I arrived, I’ve spoken a lot to the manager. He encourages me all the time and I’ve benefited from the encouragement. I’ve been really patient and on Sunday, that paid off.”

Its doubtful if he technically scored either of the goals. The first was definitely an own goal and judging by his lack of celebration for the second im not sure if he actually got a touch on it or if it came off the defenders leg. Played well and deserves credit for being in the position to put the defenders under severe pressure to make mistakes anyway.

Be tempted to start him with Edouard just off in the next couple of game's..

Useful in both boxes and quick..

That's a shame if the goals have been taken off him, the videos weren't conclusive at all. I bet if he celebrated the goals he would have been given them.

Now showing on BBC and spfl as own goals. Those videos don't prove they are to me. A rather pyric victory for Levein.

They have done it before, but never seen the campaign to switch them by the offending team's manager.
