Why would he have extended his contract then when he had a chance to get rid of those wages?

He’s been shocking under Lenny anytime he’s played. Don’t think he trusts him at all.

He's a quality young player, needs the game time and the leeway from criticism.

His goal yesterday was * exceptional, technique and vision-wise.

Great wee player but feel he will get ripped apart at Ibrox again and look like a lost puppy

It's genuinely going to be a tough call on what tactic to play at the shitpit.

Their flanks will be bombarded, especially down the right hand side.

If Johnstone is allowed to play, then really the only joy he might get is when we get a break and he's up against Tavernier one-on-one (because he's a * defender, but playing very well offensively the now).

Like I say, they will be flying down the flanks, so personally I'd probably play Hayes at LB as he is more hardy than Boli the now and will get stuck in, which is what we are going to need.

El Hamed and Forrest down the right are must picks, but equally the forward(s) selections are going to be imperative that the right call is made. Edouard will struggle if he is played up front on his own against Goldson and Katic.

And thoughts of playing 3 at the back are catastrophic. has to be 4 at the back.

Just dunno what our best chances are in that particular game - if we try to sit back and grab a goal, we'll get beat. If we try to attack them from the get go, we'll get beat.

Think we need to try and kick them off the park in all honesty, or at least be playing guys who can mix it up.

Sad state of affairs tbh when it is put like that!

They clearly have more and better options in their squad than we do!

He needs to receive the ball in space and have time to turn and run at them.

Last season they pushed up high and he couldnt get going, he never got a moment on the ball.

He has the ability to rip them apart and to be a game winner.

I like him, but he needs far better competition than Lewis Morgan.

Aye he isn't good enough, would prefer him loaned elsewhere, maybe Aberdeen? but i fear he'll be our back-up this season.

It's the same guys that say we should be more like Ajax and Salzburg, bringing players through academies.

I'm not sure where in their strategy it says to get fans to shout "Get him subbed aff, he's *' *" any time they have a misplaced pass or overhit a shot or cross.

If he was that desperate to get him off the wage bill, he wouldn’t be here, we would never have extended his contract.

Think the fact it was a cross (fluke) an hour into the game against dunfermline. The week we get knocked outta Europe. That prob killed the celebrations

The improvement he has shown since this time last year has been consistent and strong. He most defo is going to have his break out season. We need to trust and put faith in our academy players and young new signings

He was loaned to a League 1 club, albeit a top one, and failed to be remotely as relevant to them as Christie was to Aberdeen. And for all I diss the scottish league, can't see the league 1 as being more of a challenge than the second best team of scotland at that time.

There is increasingly little chance he would pull a turnaround like Christie did. He had a very good first season on loan. Personally I think loaning him for developmental reasons is a waste of time. We should sell, or loan if that alternative fails to keep him in the shop window.
