I agree, to a point. Lennon seems to have wanted them to slow pass and keep possession though. To impart that game plan you want players relaxed and calm. He presumably thought having our best passer in the back four would help keep it calm, but it instead lead to sloppiness. It is very difficult being favourites who need just a 0-0 from a big game at home.
I’m not sure if he went out to play for it, but he certainly seemed to be of the mindset that we had something to hold on to, rather than just go out and win the game. He overcomplicated it and played into Petrescu’s hands. A change was needed before the goal.
I don’t think the players weren’t able to get up for it, I just feel they were hampered by the manager’s mindset.

In saying that, if the individual mistakes don’t happen he may have got away with it. I can’t help but feel that those mistakes came from managerial errors in regards game management. Sometimes it is best to just let players play!

I’m sorry, what am I dressing up? I’m dressing down if anything! He got it horrendously wrong from the start! How is saying that ‘dressing it up’?

Incredible that a manager at this level actually came out with this.

Saying it was lost in the first half. It wasn’t you agreed and tried to explain in again, when it’s doesn't need explaining, that’s what I mean with dressing it up.

At the end I should have been more clear it’s just a horrendous night, like I was speaking out loud cause I’m gutted.

    This is the difference.

We've also been missing a defensive mid for 6 years that would have been handy tonight rather than another "technician".

Noticed loads of people saying they love his press conferences.

To me they're an absolute mess. Time and time again.

Cal Mac made such a positive impact from left back......

This honestly shows how naive he really is. It’s * frightening.

I think it was and I think it is pretty clear it was.

You think otherwise, that’s your prerogative. I just don’t get that. We lost in the first and nearly won it in the second. You disagree.

It was a nightmare either way.

Lennon close to ruining his legacy. If he fails to produce 9 in a row... he will never be forgiven.

From his interview after the game Lennon was annoyed at the slow tempo of our game 1st half. For me that's down to the players. Some of the passing about the defence tonight was a flashback to Rodgers style of play.

How games since he has come in have we started very flat footed?

There is something just not right.

We never lost in the first half, it’s was 1-1. You even said I was correct.

The second half it was 3-2 to them and we lost. I don’t know how you are not getting that. It’s clear as day.

That’s my last reply on this.

He has to take responsibility though. His language and formation suggested he wanted a slower tempo.
He thought too much into it and that will impact the team’s mindset.
