Seriously, we need to rest him more. Our schedule is crazy and he's 34, asking him to play the full 90 every time is mental. Starting to show the last 2 games.

SB: We played really well [in the first leg]. We had a game plan and we stuck to it, even though we went 1-0 down."

SB on confidence in the team: "The good thing is it’s not just one or two people who are scoring, it seems to be coming from everywhere and we need to make sure we keep that attacking threat in every game now."

SB on #CELCLU: "- It’s going to be physical. They play direct, play off second balls and have good wingers. For us, it’s about us playing our own game. We’ll play our passing game, get high up the park and create chances."

SB on #UCL ambitions: "We always aim to win as many games as we possibly can, especially in Europe. It’s always hard, we know how difficult it is going away to some of these teams.

SB on #CELCLU: "The crowd is always the 12th man, especially at Celtic Park. Everyone knows what those Champions League nights are like."

Signing a CDM is paramount IMO. A big solid * with good mobility.

I think Broony is good for one more season, but we should be buying now to get the next guy ready for next year. Also so that they can benefit from Broony's experience and learn from him.

Anyone else think brown will be dropped tomorrow? Just can’t see how Lenny can drop any1 of ntcham, Christie or cal on current form

People are completely disregarding what he means to this team and this club still.

The next write off in a list of write offs over the past 5 seasons.

Just think browns coming to age where his game time should b managed a bit better and that doesn’t seem to b happening in the league so could possibly be in Europe where he will start seen less game time( as much as a thought it would be the other way around) especially when we have 3 other midfielders on top form as the moment

He doesn't have to keep proving anything to anyone though..

We all know what he's done here. He's a bonafide legend and one of the best captain's in our history..

He's loved and adored but he's 34 and slowing down. It's natural that at some point he can't keep doing what he was. It isn't being disrespectful to point it out that he isn't looking what he was..

He isn't finished but we really should have someone in now who can play instead of Broony as he starts to sit game's out and be used more sparingly..

21 months from now he will be holding up the trophy for ‘10’ whatever his contribution on and off the pitch has been over the previous 2 seasons...

    I can’t wait for it!

Agree completely but that won’t be in a crucial Champions League qualifier.

He should be rested for Dunfermline, particularly considering the 2 domestic games which follow.

Can you see that happening? Or do you just want to have a * over the amount of notifications you receive for winding people up?

Cos I'll tell you now that there's more chance of me coming around to yours and placing my "Broony" in your gub than there is of him being dropped for our biggest game of the season so far.

No matter who, no matter what they do, they'll never replace the living legend as long as he offers 100%.

Don't worry about my boyfriend.... He'll be watching from a spy hole in the cupboard dressed as Batman ready to catch the joker.

"Broony" is a throwback to my old username... WanyamasBoaby :86:.

Could see him being rested the game before the huns tbh ,they had a lot of pace and power in midfield at ibrox and over ran us a bit , a fully rested broony for this game is just wot is needed.
