    He’s going to be excellent domestically because he’s * hot going forward.

    Positionally and defensively though he’s miles off it and will have to improve.

    Played really well going forward, nice touch, passing and moving runs dragging players back and opening things up. Ropey first half hour again though.

    Has been * at moments in the last couple of weeks, but you can see what he offers - an almost unlimited amount of energy, strength, attacking.

    Needs to up his positional sense and start attacking defenders more, but that will come.

    It's not even really his defending.

    Most of his problems come from every time he gets on the ball he turns and attempts a forward pass even when under pressure or blocked. Needs to be calmer and take the ball backwards or take a touch and just pass it back and move again into better space.

    The 3/4 problems he had in that game today where he turned on accepting the ball then tried to play a quick ball forward and was shut down or rushed and gave it away. You can get away with that as a midfielder or winger or striker but you canny gamble like that in defence.

    Aye he's quite handy going forward, but he ain't a LB, maybe could be used as a LWB or a defensive LM, but not a LB
