Soundbite from a player who doesn't want to upset his former fans. Hardly gonna say nah * that when asked the question

Wanyama is and rightly so a top four EPL player. Coming back here would be a backward step in his career even after a fairly bad season last year..

  7. Not sure the daily record is a valid source of information considering they said Zlatan was going to join us 2 years ago

A Wanyama loan would be a stunning bit of business.

I'll be stunned full stop. I don't watch much of the EPL ti be honest, what were big Vics problems from last season? Injury, bad form out of favour?

  10. It’s got direct quotes from Wanyama.

He was a top four EPL player. But injuries have set him back a fair bit.

He'd still be a coup for us, but he's not the same player he was a couple of years ago.

Hes not a top 4 EPL player any longer.

    Still a very good player.

Wanyama is the type of signing that strengthens us massively. An absolute colossus.

  14. Hahaha he scored 16 goals in 4 month for us mate you've had a nightmare here

I've already explained that mate.. Do you really think I forgot that Robbie Keane played for us..ffs:56:

  16. Injuries then poor form I think. He’s regressed quite a bit

  17. Big Vic looked well off the pace in the CL last season so I think his time at that level is over. There will be a queue to sign him mind you.

  18. Asked if he would ever consider a return to Celtic, Wanyama said: "Yes! Why not? I’ve still got a lot of love for the club and I still follow the club, so who knows I might be back at the club in the future."

Pretty standard response to please everyone tbh, we always get linked with the likes of Wanyama, Hooper, Ledley as the papers know it seems somewhat believable and will draw readers in. Could possibly see it when his legs are done in 3-4 years time and no Chinese club comes in for him, but for now I doubt we will get him at his 'prime' age

I think Jere Uronen from Genk would be a great tierney replacement, would cost under 10 million and he's impressed me whenever i've seen Genk play, Maehle would be great too but he'd be a fair bit dearer.

We aren’t half linked with some dross!

Considering we’ve lost so much experience in Lustig, Tierney and Boyata then others such Benkovic, Weah etc. We should be out there getting deals done for players who are going to cement 10 in a row.

Appreciate we have only just sold Tierney and there’s still 3 weeks of the window left but there is so much work to be done and I don’t have faith in the board.
