He played well v St Johnstone.. But that's probably because no defensive duties were needed certainly better attacking than a LB, trying to see the positives..

Early days but last night gave me the fear. Actually thought he might be subbed for Hayes at half time incase he got another booking.

And this is why we need a different player in Europe or against better SPFL sides. Bolingoli won't do bad in games where we just attack most of the time.

Can’t see him being good enough. I know it’s early days but he hasn’t shown even a hint of anything to suggest he’ll be a good defender for us.

‘Work in progress’, ‘needs time to settle in’ ect ect....I’ve heard all this before and 99 times out of a 100 the player barely improves and remains *. Sack the * scouting team, £3.5 million for that? Go * yourselves.

Ok, it's a bit depressing that nobody has a positive thing to say about him, but in fairness (and I'm playing HUGE devils advocate here...) folk trashed Izzy for his lack of defensive ability, and only wanting to attack at first... hopefully he'll improve too... not too optimistic though

I think he'll do well as a left winger. We need another left back, he should be okay as cover but needs to improve defensively. Hopefully last night was down to nerves.

I genuinely don't know if we have a scouting team to sack, I think Congerton dismantled what was there and didn't replace it with anything.

As for this guy, he may do a job as a wing back if we are playing a 3-5-2 formation, but he is not a left back.

Had a poor game last night. Too early to judge the player however.

Lots of talk on here about him being good going forward but I’ve not seen much to back this up.
Looks way out of his depth so far.

I am willing to see what happens because the guy is strong and definitely plays with will and passion. This the first decent team he played against while at Celtic. Essentially until now we were at pre season. But last game was certainly worrying.

    Agreed.

He put in a couple of nice crosses against St Johnstone but he doesn’t look confident taking players on.

Think he needs a run of games in the spl. 10/15 before we know how much he can bed in. Personally think if he improved his positioning lot of the other stuff like passing woukd significantly improve. Cluj pressed so high and hard and he was so far forward he didn't have time or know what to do anytime he got ball last night . He was in no man's land, Morgan was a poor outlet for him . Then ball turned over and he is miles outta position . McGregor and browns lack of control in first half also didn't help him.

Did anyone notice that his first touch last night ( and the teams second) straight after kick off was right to a Clunge player?

Didnt really recover from that did he..?
