Such a stupid * argument, really annoys me. Forrest, Brown nor anybody else received £25mil offers at age 22 from Arsenal offering to treble or more their wages. Not the same. When Forrest was 22 he couldn't hold down a regular spot in the starting XI. Tierney has been an integral part of the Treble Treble.

Love him and he leaves a hero.

He can run down his contract at Arsenal and come back at his peak on a free, no worries.:50:

Was resigned to this happening ...

...But it happening almost to the moment that Boli Boli proves he is probably not a fraction of the quality we are losing does not make it easier.

Its very sad to see him go. Celtic is a club bigger than any individual and he is a genuine Celtic supporter. He generally carried himself well in how this has rumbled on for months. I'm sure was a very hard decision for him. I hope he absolutely smashes it down there. I still love him and reading some of the crap on here is a joke.

The record transfer fee received by a Scottish club is set to be shattered after Arsenal finally met Celtic’s £25million valuation of Kieran Tierney

After a saga that has lasted all summer, the EPL side’s third offer has been agreed with the Scottish champions and the 22-year-old left-back must now only consent to personal terms and pass a medical.

He is said to have travelled south with his agent to sign a contract.

Arsenal began their negotiations with a low-ball bid of just £15m back in June but upped their offer to the £25m Celtic were looking for in July.

But the package on the table did not meet the Hoops’ requirements as the deal was structured with too many add-ons, including the Emirates side reaching the Champions League.

Now, however, Arsenal have submitted a bid that has been given the green light by Celtic.

The Parkhead giants were reluctant to sell but the huge amount of cash proved too hard to turn down as the club look poised to rake in yet more millions.

Celtic previously held the Scottish record for a received transfer fee – that being Moussa Dembele’s £19.7m move to Lyon in 2018.

Gutted he looks as if subject to medical and personal terms he's gone. Can't blame the lad for wanting to secure his future. Yes only 22 but a players career can end in a minute and let's be honest in any other walk of life if someone offered you or I a life securing contract we'd take it.

Don't think anyone can say he should stay at least until we've done the 10 because as I said earlier one bad tackle could end his career. I for one can only wish him all the very best.

Sorry but £25m is daylight robbery, plus it won't even be reinvested.

I usually wish Celtic players who leave all the best but I couldn't give a single * how he gets on down there.

    Tierney and Sinclair both away!
Two players integral to the treble treble.

Our full first choice back 4 from last season away!
Our major contribution from Sinclair is unreal.

But hey £25m plus what ever Sinclair goes for and £55k a week off the wage bill!

Brilliant Peter well done your bonus is secure ya * parasite

He goes with my best wishes and he would need to be daft not to want to treble his wages. Good luck KT and gooners.

Taylor from Killie will be the contingency plan!
Can’t wait for the patronising statement from Tieney about how he will always be a Celtic fan, chance to progress etc etc!

    You mean the truth?

That's obviously what he's thinking. And it makes perfect sense.

Some * giving Tierney pelters calling him a badge kisser and putting him in the same bracket as the rat Rodgers. Get *. Totally different set of circumstances. The club has been actively trying to sell him all summer so why the * would he feel like staying. Wish he wasn't going like so many but I wish him nothing but the best.

The club better reinvest every penny back into the transfer budget but we all know we won't see a * penny. Same * every season

I could, because his performances will have an influence on how much clubs are willing to pay for our players in the future.
