Yep agreed a massive miss but if he goes life goes on, looking at the positives we have great youngsters coming through knocking at the squad door and some cracking players and signings, just need a bit more quality in the squad and a RB, but even if KT goes Im upbeat for the future..........but Arsenal.....he's better than that !!!

The fact this report says KT has asked for the more smells of *. Arsenal is a club that doesnt fit him. If it was Man Utd, Liverpool or even Spurs I could understand. KT is level headed an will be taking good advice, if he stays for 9 then 10 he will still get that big money move. £20m is nothing for a player of KT calibre. Once you take off the players and agents cut itvwont seem that good a deal. Arsenal have just spent £72m on one player yet tjey were rumoured to have had a restricted budget. With an initial offer of only £15m for KT they can * off, showing us no respect because we dont play in the fake riches of the EPL

He hasn't- there is no statement from him or his agent which says so. About 3-4 weeks ago, his agent gave a statement which went on to describe Tierney as a humble man, and stated he is happy here. At worst, he's 50/50 on the move. Until some concrete evidence of his unhappiness surfaces, I'll take his agent's words over the tabloid articles.

Compare the events that went on with Boyata and Ntcham, with Tierney.

 

We should just be ignoring offers like that, pathetic. About time we grew a backbone and said £40M or * off. A team living in the past with the most fickle English fans and the quietest, I’ll seriously question KT’s mindset if he goes there this summer.

 

Bids don't get this far down the line without a player wanting the move, if we accept a bid then Tierney will be going. The likelihood is that a deal has already been provisionally agreed between Arsenal and his agent.

 

Boyata and Ntcham didn't and don't give a * what the fan's think. Nor do they have any attachment to the club..

KT does. If he wants to go, which I'm assuming he does....he'll never ever do it in a public way that leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth..

Some don't want to believe that one of our own, that totes the megaphone and kicks about with the GB would leave us at this point in our history for Arsenal but if that were true he would've told his agent weeks ago and the speculation would be over as they know they'd be wasting their time.

They know he wants it and it's why they're doing everything to unsettle him and us in order to get him cheaper. Effectively they're Lawwell-ing a Lawwell.

 

This is illegal- agreeing terms with a player before the club has given permission is called "tapping up", and clubs get hit with a transfer embargo if they get caught. Chelsea is one example.

The deal hasn't moved much because two bids were rejected. Only an officially reported acceptance of a bid would mean progress for Arsenal. Not saying Tierney isn't at all interested in the move. But it can't happen without an accepted bid.
