  4. Tbh he maybe has a point! Pitch does look bare in the pic maybe something to do with his age having to be 30 days until he turns 16 or something before announcing it like Oko-flex and Dembele before him

  5. Probably.

  6. Probably waiting for confirmation on 'international approval' before announcing it. Can't see the logic behind using a 15 year old as a PR stunt.

  7. Who cares if it’s a PR stunt. Hope he does well.

Now, how is his surname pronounced?

  9. Not at all. The club is in a sad state, and has been for many years (despite the league titles). It's expected that the talented youth players move elsewhere (Johnsen as Ajax, Tagseth at Liverpool, Holm at Deila's Vålerenga plus more), and you can't blame them, seeing how bad the club is at giving our younger players a chance. Celtic seems to be much better in that regard.

I haven't see Hjelde play, but he's part of a very exciting 03' born group of Norwegian players. I'll follow him at Celtic with great interest!

  10. Was only a bit tongue and cheek due to facing each other a lot :50:

Poor show if a club such as yourself neglects the academies talent. It's vital for both our club's..

  16. Hhh-yelled-ah?

  17. hope he does well but the reality is he has no chance of breaking into the first team any time soon, why not push the boat out for Melling? right now we dont need projects we need players who are gonnae win us the 9 n 10.

He has no chance of breaking into the first team because he just turned 16!! Football isn’t just about next week and next season, it is about planning for the future. The academy is really starting to show results recently; McGregor, Tierney, Forrest, Johnston, Ajer, Henderson etc. We will need more of these in the future. Hopefully another Ajer in a few years, but if not it is a sensible gamble to take.
