That is * horrendous. The only thing new balance got right this year was the trainers (for kids or old celtic da’s) and training stuff. The strips have been shocking and cant wait to see the back of them.

One of the worst kits we've had in a long time.

Just remove the chevron and it instantly looks pretty decent.

Genuinely reckon that will be the lowest selling kit of the modern era. Would fit awfully on anyone that is not in decent shape.

NB have been a disaster besides the 50th anniversary home top which they couldn't get wrong recreating something so simple.

That is awful, thought getting rid of the hoops on the sleeve of the home kit was bad but how on earth did that get past the design stage? I mean who do they consult?

Only way I'd have no hoops on sleeve would be an Adidas kit. I'd actually take less money if Adidas were making our kits. Should get rid of alcohol and gambling sponsors too.

Adidas are *. They use identikit * like NB does.
We wouldn’t get anything any better looking with them.

So what does anyone designing our kits do?
If they keep it simple every year no one buys a new one because it’s identical to the last one.
And no doubt we’d all be moaning about that as well.
“All they’ve done is change collar! I’m no paying £60 for that!!! Get Adidas now!!!”

They change it up to give each seasons kit an identity and that is easily and quickly visually dated to a certain season and along with their individual manufacturers in season design trends it gives all their kits a seasonal feel.

It’s part and parcel of being with a manufacturer who will throw about a few templates and we get 3 from them in certain colours.
Will be the same with Adidas, Nike, Umbro, Errea, Joma etc etc unless we make our own somehow.
Highly unlikely as there’s no way we’d pay out the up front cost.

It absolutely perplexes me how New Balance can get the training gear spot on, but make such a mess of the kits :39:
