    I love Calmac and am one of his biggest supporters, and I'll use him as an example of why we shouldn't right off Ralston, but I stand by my opinion he passes the ball back more than he should. I'm not denying that he is a great player.I also agree it could be the way we're coached though.

    At no point did I say he plays boring safe football ya fud. If you took that then you can GTF!!! The comparison to Ralston was in the sense when he went to Notts County not many would have predicted he would have had the impact that he has had.

    Pass the ball backwards more than he should.. it’s simply not true, he always looks for a forward pass when it’s on and retains possession when it’s not.

    I said he has a tendency when receiving the ball with his back to goal to just pass it back. Even when there is no one near him. I concede to a certain level, he may being coached to do that, but when I watch Christie for example he does the exact opposite on a lot of occasions. I will say again,Calmac is an exceptional player,one of our greatest attacking threats,but there is no need to get tje * with someone else's opinon ffs!!!

    Ralston gets it tight because almost every time he's seen in a celtic shirt he's pish, stood out at youth level because of his physicality compared to others his age, technically he's so far off that you'd think he was a centre back. He was playing more as a right midfielder for Dundee Unite and struggled to cross a ball, needs at least 1 full season of first team football in the spfl before he even gets a look in. I can't even remember why we recalled him from his loan at Dundee United?

    I get all that, but all I'm saying is we should not just dismiss the boy. He may well improve. I do think it is unlikely, but still think it's too early to just say '* it, he's *!!'.

    I have watched Calmac every game he has played for us (domestic home and away) and it is a FACT he does, when receiving the ball with his back to goal, he hass a tendency to pass back to the centre backs or full backs.

    Think your getting him mixed up with Scott brown mate..... One of the reasons we had a great spell was when brown was injured calmac took his place and was magnificent at spraying the ball forward
