PISH.Strachan has done better in the Cl than o'Neill. O'Neill was the manager when we blew it TWICE on the last day of the season or did i imagine that FACT............Get over it

... Martin O'Neil was only ever successful because Larsson was there carrying the team.. without Larsson O'Neil was good but not hyped up as he was when he managed celtic.. it proves my point in 04/05 without larsson.

I dont love MON either I was just saying that your trying to say that Sutton or Hartson isnt better than nearly all of our first team and squad right now yes they are and you can say all you like if you think hes just backing me up well what are the 2 of you's up to. So your stance is that you hate all our managers, and it irritates you when any of them get praise from the support for being "unjustifiably" successful. Makes perfect sense.

Fair enough,
we've got 3 in a row and last 16 two years in a row and you cant really argue much with that but if Lennon hadn't came back do you really think we'd have got 3 in a row, seriously ?

Notice, excluding the motherwell game, we won every game after that including 2 old firm games. The past couple of months before lennon came back our squad was unmotivated and basically couldn't be botherd.

Naka and Hartley even went to the papers and said that Lennon was what the team had been misisng.

I dont hate strachan, i think we will do better next season than what we did this season tbh. I did prefer MON though i have to admit

 

An over-exaggeration on my part, but you still said you don't like either of them... despite the success they've brought. Who exactly do you support again?
Another oddity is that you claim Strachan only wins titles because he's a better manager than what Rangers had, and has built a better team than Rangers have. And somehow that equates to him being horrible.

 

i support Linlithgow Rose . I never said hes a better manager than what Rangers had, i only said that we only won the league because by some black magic Rangers ended up * up and you should also see that indeed most of our players said that Lennon was the reason we won the league notable Hartley if i remeber rightly. So who do you support ?. Strachan be all and end all

Your reasons for the 1st 2 titles are that Strachan was a better manager. I took the liberty of rephrasing that for you, but it's inherent in your statement anyway.
And for the last season, you actually said it's because Rangers tossed it because they weren't even half-decent. Which inherently implies Celtic was an overall better team.
Being better they were able to carry through their tragedies and setbacks and rebound. Strachan must be terrible to win with a better team that carries his stamp on it. [/yawn]

Fact is, Lennon was brought in once Tommy Burns health had deteriorated badly.

Why exclude the Motherwell game, we lost and it was his first game here. He wasn't brought in to motivate players, he was brought it to continue TB's 1st team role.

Our squads unmotivated behaviour was down to the fact that TB wasn't winning his battle with cancer. Players would have know long before any of it would become common knowledge.

What do all players from Barca Man Utd etc,etc say.Yes youve guessed it,they revel in it and wish they played in that atmosphere every week as it inspires them to perform and triumph over the Celts.
Lets rejoice in that and stop slating the wee man.
I was a doubter on his management skills,IE,tactics,but he is a very clever and articulate man and i love his sense of humour.
Sense of humour doesnt win titles,winners do!!!

IMO if you are as successful as he has been with celtic you can never get enough credit

 

aye all stop slating him but you know that the home crowd gets us through home games now because we are starting to get out played at home . As i say again ive not got nothing against him so ill stop hating for now
