Just snapped up tickets for Alice In Chains at the Braehead Arena in May. Seen them a couple of times now, and can't wait for this. Superb live.
Also going to see Lynyrd Skynyrd in June. Love me a bit of Southern Rock, and it doesn't get any bigger than Skynyrd in that field.

Was in Edinburgh last Saturday night for Cockney Rejects and they never disappoint.

Canny wait to see DMAs in Edinburgh next month. They're playing at TRNSMT as well but the lineup aside from them and Richard Ashcroft is horrendous.

Saw Alice In Chains last night at the Braehead Arena. WHAT a show.
One of the best gigs I've been to. Crowd was a wee bit slow to warm up, but the band got everyone bouncing. Superb night.

    They were absolutely fantastic.

Jerry wearing the kilt was a great touch.

I’ve got a voucher to use for a gig on ticketmaster. Hopefully a band I like tours soon.

Seen Lynyrd Skynyrd last night at the Hydro. It was their 'Last of the Street Survivers Tour', and the last time ever they'll play in the UK. A group called 'Massive Wagons' kicked off the night. If you like your music from the 70's then this band is for you, classic 70's rock.
The the legends that are Status Quo were up next. Quo have been my favourite band for over 40 years, so I knew what we were getting, no-nonsense rock 'n' roll. As always, Quo were SUPERB.
Skynyrd finished the night. WHAT a show they put on, classic Southern rock. As always, they finished with the classic 'Free Bird'. Skynyrd were amazing. I've seen them live a few times now, and they just get better with age.
From start to finish, it was an amazing night.

Away to head off to Wembley for The Who and Eddie Vedder. Hope they're bringing the orchestra they've had in the states.

I’m going to see them at a festival in London in Sunday. Found tickets online for a fiver, so why not? I’m really going to see the Fontaines, but I have been listening to the DMAs a bit lately and should be good. It is mad how many Aussie bands I like, considering I have never met an Aussie I liked! More singing, less abbreviations!
Down in London anyway for Garbage and Sleeper the night before. Should be a good weekend. 25 quid for the two days too.

Just been to see Jonsi of Sigur Ros, perform his Rice Boy Sleeps album, co-written with Alex Somers. Had an orchestra backing them too. Epic soundscape.
