Well our scouts clearly think otherwise and I will go on what our professional scouts say rather than watching him against top 6 EPL on a whim!

 

Not that i agree or disagree with him, but our scouts have also got us Jack Hendry and Marvin Compper in recent years, i think i understand if people don't fully trust them

 

Hendry was Rodgers himself and the one that got Compper has left the club.

 

Maybe not the best examples but we have scouted some poor players over the years. It seems to have improved under Lennon so far.

Lewis I have seen a lot on this forum but you are so negative when it comes to signings, when games aren’t going well you are on here moaning like * but yet when we win you are nowhere to be seen!

I am happy with our signings so far, and I want the guy in from Brentford too. This however doesn't fill me with excitement as whenever I've seen him he's been pish. I am allowed to have reservations on who we sign, this guy isn't a patch on Lustig.

 

I do sincerely hope we are planning on signing two right backs.

 

He isn’t a patch on Lustig, a loved big Mika but he has been gash the last two seasons 80% of the time, Rodgers didn’t trust gamboa, Ralston got loaned and Toljan was a panic loan deal when we couldn’t get anyone else.

How many games have you seen him play and what you have seen of him not against the top 6 as that’s what most of Huddersfield games on TV whee against!

When he has been up against Sane, Rashford, Hazard, lacazette, Willian, Dele Alli?

The aforementioned would have terrorised Lustig so I won’t judge Smith against any of the above!

We aren’t sevco we don’t sign players after they have a good game against us.

We will have done our homework.

 

Smith and O'donnell

 

Wouldn't be the worst outcome but I'd hope we'd take a punt on some young guy who might turn out to be a world beater. Can't say I know a lot about O'Donnell. I mostly blank out the opposition players as individuals in Scotland.

 

Is it not just the fact that as Huddersfield are gonnae lose him, they are just peddling the hun patter, "He's pish anyway."

I've not seen this guy but will trust our scouting department.

His last 2 contributions weren't bad, the goal to start the clinch of 8 and the assist for 3 trebles in a row, ffs, grow up with this he's pish nonsense, Kent had a couple of runs on him and that was it for the usual suspects, only worried about them, never mind the positives. The exact same with Gordon too, all any * could spot his kicking, mind you maybe check the Bain thread for the padt few months, not much chat I saw. Same with Izzy after Aberdeen pk. ( think that was who it was against).

Think he'll find it easier at Celtic. Seems quick with a decent cross, experienced. 143 games in the Championship, 39 in the top flight.
Reckon he'll get stuck in and provide an overlap down the right.

At some point you just want someone in and this is one deal that looks like it could happen and if it does i don't think it's too much to get worried about.

It's not like he's coming from a completely different style of football to come in and moan about the weather, food, level etc.
My guess is he's right up for a battle and knows the script.

A right back that plays centre back, 1.86 metres tall and a good character.. Not that different although you'll never get a complete carbon copy.
