When you look at fact rather than fiction Peter Lawwell has been the CEO of Celtic and overseen 8 league titles in a row, 9 domestic trophies in a row, an invincible season, record sponsorship deals and broke our transfer record by some margin, as well as spending money on the stadium and surrounding area, a £2m desso pitch and roughly the same on lights and speakers to enhance the match day experience. Enough said.

Nothing as dastardly :97: bit of a long story but boiled down - I know an agent, honestly they're not all *, who I've done work for with players he represents.

Perhaps I wasn't clear here I speak with them. I mentioned the agent as that is how I became involved.
When I speak to an individual, whatever they do for a job, about investing there are many considerations involved, a topical one just now is brexit obviously. Once you start to discuss a client's views on how that will pan out their political leanings/who they have voted for isn't far behind.
As for 'holes' tbh believe me or not, I don't care either way.

Maybe there is a secret political party preference list that only Tim's agent has access to :giggle1:

Should change your avatar to Jacob Rees-Mogg while you're at it.

I was going to say it was funny watching two of my favourite posters tearing into each other. Then I realised it would annoy McGuire and changed my mind. Then I realised I like annoying McGuire and changed my mind again. :52:

Unfortunately times have moved on and football clubs at the highest level are big money buisnesses and have to be run as such by people that have the acumen to do the job. Only a well run club can provide the success the fans want and I think Lawwell is doing a good job, regardless of his politics. By the way, I wouldn't trust any politician of any party so would probably agree we would be better having none on the board but that's a personal opinion. But to continually criticise board members who are businessmen and no doubt good at their job because they may or may not vote tory is ridiculous.

To me, Celtic are a well run club regardless of whether the pursue the resolution 12 or not. As someone else said, we don't know what legal advice they've received or what is going on in the background.
