If it was a choice between the 3? Aye. Not the money I would recieve but the money they could invest in the team. Arsenal have a £40m budget for * sake. Everton and Leicester can * that on one player. Exactly why I was saying I think Arsenal are on their way down.

People hating on KT over a hypothetical transfer is ridiculous.

He is truly one of our own and we (fans) are being so ignorant and selfish it is unreal, No one in their right mind wants him to leave and I would bet deep down in his heart he doesn't want to either but it is a short career and one bad injury it is game over.

The only thing about him possibly leaving for me is that Arsenal have not and will not win anything of note in the near future and for a so called big EPL team the Europa league is a joke competition, A well run club sure but KT should be at a club consistently challenging in the later stages of the CL not the EL.

Lets face it...A well spent £6m or whatever and we could instantly have the best LB in Scotland.

Arsenal is one of they clubs where its difficult to move up from, never really challenging but big enough that other big clubs rarely take their top players due to the prices they will demand. If say, Tierney went to Everton, it would be likely that he could earn a big move elsewhere if he impressed. Obviously hypothetical but I don't think Arsenal would be a great career move.

I'm with big Sutton on this one, why should we get rinsed out of money for one of our best and most promising looking players in a position that will be very hard to replace. Especially when there are teams in England paying £50 million + for players in the same position who aren't as good and have only had one good season in the Prem?? Ridiculous if you ask me! But, as a few have mentioned before it looks as if he's already on his way out with £20 million + £5 million add on offer which is a kick to chookies in my opinion we asked for £25 million just stump it up rather than hit us with add ons pish.

Don't even need £6m mate. Peraud is available for £4m. Boy looks a * baller.

He’s won the Treble 3 times, pumped rangers loads of times, played in CL theirs nothing else he can really achieve here.

Love the guy and would be sad to see him go! But can understand why he would want to, he has a lot to prove and with Robertson getting loads of credit now I think it’d time for KT to go to England and see what he can do.

If it's not now I reckon it's 2 years max imo. My main worry is getting royally rimmed on the price. * YET AGAIN!!

Even with 50 Million and McGinn in the same sentence is enough to treble Arsenal’s valuation of KT

Wouldn’t begrudge him the move and this whole “why would a die hard Celtic fan leave before the 10” stuff is just stupid.

He’s won 3 consecutive trebles. Played in the CL and EL. Been part of 5 of 8IAR - albeit only has 4 winners medals.

He’s not realistically going to go much further in Europe with us. EL last 32/16 is the best we can hope for.

There’s not really anything left for him to do. He’s had injury problems since he broke into the team. He might be thinking he should move when he’s young and fit enough.

Thats why I said rarely mate. Ramsey, Van Persie, Champerlain and Sanchez had only 6 month or a year left on their contract so they could potentially force a move. The likely hood of Tierney being offered a 5/6 year deal with Arsenal is high so they would be demanding stupid money for him to move on when he's under contract. I just think that he has the potential to go to the very top, ie winning trophies and challenging for the champions league. Couldn't really do that with Arsenal imo.

I think it's a measure of how upset people are that he might be going. Dembele, Wanyama, Virgil... wonderful players, but not Celtic fans. KT is both. If you are not absolutely sick to the pit of your stomach that he might be leaving this window, IMO you're not a Celtic fan.

How people handle these emotions are another matter. Some people are undoubtedly going to try to convince themselves that Arsenal are a diddy club and that KT was never a fan and was only ever chasing after money. Why? Because it hurts much less than the truth that Arsenal are no Southampton and that this would be a decent move for him both in terms of his development and in terms of the chance to compete for European trophies.
