There was loads of different names for it but we called it Code.

Two teams and one team had a code word that the other team had to had to find out by finding a player from the other team, chasing them, catching them and seriously kicking the * out of them until they gave up the word. Sometimes everyone had just one letter and the other team had to catch and assault every member then arrange the letters to get the word.

    Good times.

Was it Tony Soprano who quite correctly stated "remember when" is the lowest form of conversation

Fire brigades did find them in loads of homes that were on fire BUT it was because the picture was so popular that there was always a chance one would turn up at scene of a fire. It's a bit like blaming the roads for huns getting skint knuckles rather than the fact those animals drag their knuckles everywhere

I just very vaguely remember that... must have been very late eighties.

Bizarre when you think about it now..

Was it the one where folk would make cards and send them in to get shown?

Having to sit through some card Malcolm from Elderslie’s Granny has made him - when Malcolm’s only 3 and canny read anyway! Every other kid watching and thinking ‘stuff this and get spider-man on’ ..

And a talking lamp ! * was that about ?
