    This a wind up??

Loan him out to Norwich on the proviso he gets 30 starts next year so they can bring him on a bit for us.:fear:

Seriously, if and I mean 'if' we've upped the offer then I'm a * about that and think that's a dangerous precedent to set.

Didn't really blame the club for too much before that!!

Nah that's were the roblens started we wanted 4 he wanted 3 that wouldn't work for us because celtic usually want at least 2 seasons from a player if they are good they have the other two years to help demand higher transfer fee from other clubs

You know these kind of twists happen with transfers all the time, could of even happened to some of our previous celtic legends before they signed. The difference is that all this has gone public.

If he signs let's give him a chance.

Although we all like to know what goes on with our club, especially transfers, this is probably a great example of why things should be done behind closed doors. It's pretty obvious that from day one the powers that be at both Motherwell and ourselves thought it was a slam dunk, hence it played out like a reality tv show.

If he does actually sign, the fans will supoort him. We've supported players at our club who've worn the blue, we'll get behind him. If he signs.........

Personally though, I'm a bit apatetic to the situation right now. I'd rather a really good centre half as our first purchase & a quality right full as our second.

Don’t know how I feel to be honest. I feel like I want the club to tell him to * off but at the same time a kinda a want him in. There’s one thing I’m certain on it will take a bit for me to take to him but I’ll back him when I’m at the matches no point in booing him.

Don't usually bother with all the politics and * that goes on in and around transfers.
If he comes he'll have my full support and hopefully his agent attends a game or two so we can direct a bit of abuse :fear: sorry banter :34: at him.

Makes me laugh how people are willing to completely rubbish some reports but completely believe others.

The reality is none of us really know the ins and outs of this deal and who was responsible for the delay.

If he signs on the dotted line it doesn’t really matter to me whether he was unsure, exploring his options etc... just get out on the pitch and perform, that’s all he needs to be judged on.

Neil Lennon has confirmed that David Turnbull is at Celtic Park ahead of a medical today.

The 19-year-old was in talks with the Hoops last week after Motherwell accepted a club record bid, believed to be around £3m.

Talks broke down over salary and playing time, with Celtic releasing a statement saying they had made a "magnificent offer" which hadn't been accepted.

Turnbull then entered talks with Norwich City as the Hoops pulled out of the deal, but last night reports emerged that the deal could be back on.

Speaking on Sky Sports News this morning Lennon confirmed that Turnbull is at Celtic Park ahead of a medical, indicating that the deal is on the verge of being completed.

If it does go through then Turnbull won't be away from Fir Park for long, as Motherwell face Celtic in the second weekend of the season.

He scored 15 goals for the Steelmen last season, but is now expected to line up against them.

The Premiership fixtures were released today, with the first Old Firm game on August 31.

He’s always wanted to come here but his agent shopped him around for more money instead of listening to what Turnbull wanted, agent was taking advantage of the situation 100%. He was constantly wanting different clauses put in the contract and all sorts which * off Celtic understandably.
