Fans do not have any right to know about who didn't get the managers position hence the reason that even the media don't even bother asking the club that question.

Name me one big club in world football that has unveiled a new manager then announced the unsuccessful candidates in public.

    Yes that is a fact.

I'm thinking about this reversed scenario to help me understand this mess from a different perspective, so if Johansson was in charge of Rangers when were out of the picture, how many titles would he have won?

The more I think about it, the more I realise why other teams in the SPL would be delighted with NL as our manager. As we have become more like one of them and not a club who has progressed even further ahead.

    None, they're deid

Is he a step down in coaching terms from the rat? Probably.

Have we become more like one of them because of his appointment? Not even close

#VictorWanyama: “Playing against Barcelona and scoring and winning against that side at that time gave me so much. They were such a good team that people thought they might have been the best side ever in Europe but we still won. It taught me about competing at the highest level. It showed me the kind of attitude you need if you are going to play and compete against the best. Celtic taught me what the Champions League was all about. Lennon taught me so much about the game. That it doesn’t matter who the opponents are, what they can do or who is in their team. We faced big teams with Celtic in the Champions League but we did it with belief. I learned so much from him about that.”

    Love that last bit

Johansson but :56: would it not be more like Barry Ferguson being a successful manager for them, leaving, going to Bolton & Hearts, then being brought back?

Except in reality, their version of the league winning club captain turning to management ended up at Clyde and Kelty Hearts :dancing:

I'm sorry but I can't accept the word of that guy that's just about to play in a Champions League final.

I didn't want him as manager and his demeanour on the touchline tells me he's a hothead so in spite of these quotes - and others from the likes of Ledley & Wilson - I have deduced that Lennon's managerial ability consists of shouting at his players in the hope of getting a reaction.

Haha imagine the new manager's face dropping more and more as the chairman lists off each name after name.

Fair enough Barry Ferguson is a better suggestion.

I think Lennon will do well , all he needs is 2 titles and he'll be an even bigger legend, not confident giving another manager it at this important time.
If Moyes was the other option what's he ever won or done in management ? negative manager too.
Mourinho would have cost a lot more but again not too sure on him either and how much change he would look to make,
Lennon was the only option not the cheap option.

some players respond better with [ i will * show you attitude ], man management , not every1 is the same ,only thing i would be against is a bully type ,nothing wrong in throwing a few things or lashing out at a table or chair if it motivates but good managers test these theories , but that should never be directed at an individual .

I hope you kept your receipt for your sarcasm detector Joe. I'd be taking it back to Argos first thing tomorrow if I was you.
