Last time I checked, he didnt replace a CB for another this match as Bitton and Hayes are neither and I am obviously talking about another game. We had a 10 million pound tall CB very good at heading in the bench and he sent Bitton. Madness.

Listen we all need to get a grip here. We just won the Triple Treble here! Jesus you wouldn't believe the negativity coming from our own. Celtic were never going to go for a big name manager.....Brendan may have been a wee step up but he was hardly blockbuster. Why don't people get that? Whilst Lenny knows some of the guys it was never his team and he managed to navigate us to the treble. He needs time to get with the program and find out more about what he has and what he needs and who he can realistically expect to get. Lenny didn't do too badly last time around so let's see what he does with a fit team inclusive of Griff, Christie, KT, Forrest, Eddy and the young ones who're setting the game alight. See how it goes. We all know there needs to be a rebuild and a reset to kick off again. We need to sign some good players and if he can do that we will continue to be light years ahead of the rest in terms of talent.

 

Must check the daily record and the sun tomorrow in case we are going to buy Samaras and Hooper

Not sure why you'd be talking about a different game considering there was one today and Bitton came on for Hayes today, but yeah ok whatever, we all know you are referring to a different game. Whether Benkovic or Bitton should come on for Hayes today, I'm not going to second guess at this point either player would have done the job. Benkovic has played sparingly recently, not sure he is 100% fit, I'm sure the manager would know that better than you and I.

I just checked all the games that Lennon has managed this season and Bitton only replaced Hayes today. He played one other game the full 90 minutes.

 

Seriously, wish folk would stop taking it out of context. I don't think even the biggest Lenny fanboy would suggest he's a better manager than Rodgers. But Rodgers appointment was astonishing because he's a world class manager. Anyone who thinks Lawwell didn't attempt to sign another one is dreaming, it's just near to impossible.

I guess * is subjective, but we've struggled in a lot of games and only finished 9 points ahead of Rangers this season. Compared to the last 2 years, it's been much worse. I didn't say we've played * under Rodgers every year. We clearly regressed this year compared to the prior two.

What I said was we play without a striker now. I didn't feel there was a massive change to that today, but you seem to love quoting me while wanting me to "shut up". And yes, I still think it is a problem. We had numerous crosses into the box today, he didn't even feign interest in any of them. He dawdles about until he gets a chance he likes and then he comes to life. I don't think that is enough.
