That’s all lovely but the fact remains, Moyes saved Bilic’s West Ham team from relegation...

This is how it feels to be Celtic,
    Champions again as you know,
Hanz De Fuko's here for 10 in a row

Wouldn't trust Moyes to maintain our amazing cup run, though. Never won one in a decade at Everton. Knocked out of the FA Cup by Swansea in their first round at Man United, and knocked out of the League Cup by Sunderland.

Still can't see anyone but lenny being appointed , obviously the title was the main one here and job done in that respect, this would have been the talk before he was asked to take the reigns .

Why then not just give it now its job done , the deal would have been, sit down and talk after last game which will be the cup final , nothing I believe had been discussed prior to that interim acceptance regarding promises of the gig at the end other than sitting and talking , and keeping things as is .

A cup final win will be the icing on the cake, and put the job strongly in his favour ,it's been a lot to ask of lenny to manage but at the same time your hands are tied , we are not seeing the real Lennon or his team and its hard to have players respect without full control .

I feel others will have been discussed and sounded out as would be the norm and the best choice picked ,but it would be unjust not to take into account him stepping in and keeping us on track and thats why i see him being backed .

Moyes had some great seasons at Everton, that cant be denied. He was never really backed financially.

I feel like he’d need Osman, Cahill, Pienaar etc in to make him feel comfortable. Just don’t know about him at all.

I feel there is a big split in our support atm on lenny being at the helm , he is doing wot has been asked of him ,if he wins the cup as well it may sway some of the doubters, but the main job was done , if not then he will have a hard job trying to change minds through the season and the fans being united behind u is biggest part of the battle .

We did, finished with 99 points, had a single league defeat and broke a decades-old clean sheet record.
