Pardew is a good manager outside of everything else about him

He’s had a few decent to very good seasons in england and he’d probably win the title up here. Not anywhere near my first choice for the job but there’s worse managers it there

He'd do a better job for them than Slippy.I would rather he stayed away from The Pit !

Aye maybe mate but he was touted there before and I can't remember being overly bothered. We play it right this summer and they're * regardless what they do imo. Massive few months for us.

Alan Pardew, sacked by West Ham. Had them in the relegation zone. Couldn't keep Charlton up, he then had them in the bottom 3 in the CHAMPIONSHIP with fans calling for his head. Sacked by Southampton in League 1. Had a good start at Newcastle getting them into Europe but they were really mediocre in the next two and a half years under him. He jumped ship to Palace midway through the 14/15 season with fans calling for his head. Initially did well, next season finished 15th and the season after he was sacked. At the time Palace had 6 wins in 36 in 2016. He left them when they were 17th fighting relegation. He then replaced Pulis at West Brom in an attempt to steer the club away from a relegation battle, he did the complete opposite and ended up being sacked just months later and Darren Moore made a far better effort at trying to keep them up but the damage was already done.

    So yeah, absolutely not.

It seems like he might be a good motivator initially who encourages his teams to play attacking football but isn't really great as a coach in a tactical sense. He's kinda like Harry Redknapp I'd say. One of those guys who kept getting Premier League jobs despite it all ending in tears every single time.
