One signed a raft of absolute dross that currently fill our squad and despite professing to be a Celtic fan, took himself and the majority of the coaching staff out on the eve of one of our biggest games of the season while we were on the brink of unprecedented history.

The other has been player, captain and manager of our club over 14 seasons delivering success throughout while being the victim of constant torrents of verbal & physical abuse, threats to his life and his family's life. Yet despite all of this didn't give it a seconds thought to walk back in to the interim post during our hour of need. Knowing that failing to win either the League or Cup would result in him not getting the job and being forever remembered for that.

Loyalty is something we should value. I think that entitles Lennon to be treated with a little more respect than the fraudster that was in the post before him.

We didn’t have any qualification under WGS.

Statistics can indeed be selective and skewed but it demonstrates more empirical rigour than picking out isolated games and results and using that as gospel.

The problem is that the emotional reaction to Rodgers leaving has clouded a lot of judgment on reality.

There is no comparison as to who is the better manager. Regardless of who is more of a ‘Celtic man’.

Did he not lose to Bratislava in his first season and defeat Spartak Moscow in 2007

You've created an argument in your head here. I've not seen a single person say that Lennon is a better manager than the rat.

Your point was specifically about criticism. For Lennon I will try to be constructive in my criticism given the unfailing loyalty he's shown the club.

For the rat? * him! He deserves and will get no respect from me. His ego and selfish actions could've seen our whole season, 10 in a row and a Treble Treble implode. Thankfully it didn't.

The emotional reaction is causing people to rewrite history. The first paragraph in your last post suggests that. And the “raft of dross” is what has got us to being on the cusp of treble treble.

As has been said countless times, he needed us as much as we needed him. He’ll have been delighted when he saw Rodgers left.

He’s desperate for the job again. As if he would have said no to us.

Our success has been down mostly to the squad he inherited. You can count on one hand his successes in the transfer market.

If you look at it in purely professional terms then aye but that isn't the only consideration at play. We have a guy who had genuine attempts to take his life last time he was Celtic manager, attacked on the touchline and in the street and his family had a panic button to connect to the police station for when he was away with the team.

For most people that would be enough to dissuade them from taking the job.

His success is measured by games he wins, trophies he wins and performances. The same way Lennon is.

If you are going to say his recruitment was poor then you’ll need to concede that his coaching of players must have been sensational?

Sensational is probably slightly hyperbolic but he did do very well with the players he inherited from Deila, which is again something that the vast majority of fans are in agreement with.

Was at a first communion today apparently the latest from one of the supporters busses guys who works in the club has said DD met Jose and Rafa in London a few days ago, Jose was said not to be satisfied with the amount of money he'd get to spend on players, but Rafa apparently did Not say that so he's more a positive depending on the meetings at Newcastle.

I'm not disputing that. But it's not like he's doing us a favour by taking over. He had just been mutually dismissed by Hibs. We are the best job he'll ever get, and he has the chance to secure the treble treble. He was always going to jump at it.

Also, on your other point, Rodgers inherited a mess of a team. His coaching qualities made it into a potential treble, treble winning side.

Speaking of the rat, see he’s claimed Newcastle definitely should have plenty money to spend. Think he specified 45-50million. So would appear he was also speaking to Newcastle while at us, as he was linked with them before going to Leicester.

Made me raging at the * again
