Celtic’s next permanent manager

“Popcorn teeth” was one guy and he was hounded for it.

Some players will get on with Lennon and some won’t. Just because some have came out and said he gets on with them doesn’t mean he gets on with everyone.

 

Criticising him in any way is seen as disrespectful by some, it seems.

And he was clearly joking, but some people still got offended.

It was also clear as day that his relationship with Kamberi broke down. Like you said, I'm sure some players love him and some don't.

I don't want Lenny but that was a * joke, literally straight after we dropped points the other week..

 

Fair enough.

 

I still think Lenny will be leading us out at the start of next season, providing we complete the treble treble next weekend, so best get used to those popcorn teeth.

 

Pish patter whatever it was and a crass way to talk about a guy who has given his best for Celtic and been candid about his mental health issues.

Of course Lennon will get on with some players and not some else. There's not a manager in World Football that isn't like that. There's no evidence to suggest he's any worse than any manager in respect of getting on with his players.

 

I can't say I have noticed name calling but there is definitely no need for that.

I also don't know if there is any truth about problems getting on with players but what I have noticed is they all look * miserable at training of late. When Rodgers and Davies were taking training the players always seemed to be laughing and smiling in the photos the Celtic facebook page put up. I don't think I've seen anyone crack a smile in weeks. You'd expect they would be putting up pictures that show things at the club in the best light. If the pictures they are showing are the best ones it doesn't bode well. If it were a one off I wouldn't read too much into it, but it is the same in all the ones I've seen for weeks now.

It's worrying me if Lenny does get the job there is going to be a pretty unhappy dressing room.

 

We will all back Lenny if he gets the job purely for his love for our amazing Club.
But it will show once again a sheer lack of ambition from the Club we love so much.

 

Fair enough but that seems to be tiny minority of the discussion.

And I wouldn’t read too much into flippant comments at games.

 

Maybe not but I think his style of digging players out and slating them in public is more volatile than managers who are more measured and calm that way.
