Seen Rafa on sky sports news there. Sure he said he wants to remain at Newcastle and hopes next weeks' talk will resolve their issues.

Just about to suggest Hughton myself. Excellent manager who plays good football and has an eye for a player. I find it a little odd Brighton sacked him, what were they expecting? Champions league place? Done well just keeping them up.

Cocu Or Houghton for me. Mainly because they're both good managers with good track records.

Houghton would be more realistic though between the two.

Chris Hughton would be a wildcard appointment.

Was watching a little bit of the build up of their game yesterday and when we talking I just thought. "hmmmmm I wonder if he'd be realistic".

If memory serves right, I feel like he was given a dead duck at the time when he was Newcastle. Every other club he has achieved something. I'm probably wrong on that but he could be someone that, isn't what all the fans would be happy with but alot could at least see the merit and give him a real good go at it.

I did and that what he is, he will bounce from pointless job to job achieving nothing of note for the test of his career

Journeymen don’t spend 11 years at a club mate.

    * are out here talking about Rafa and Jose and I'm told to behave for dreaming of Bielsa :giggle1:

Is he really out of our reach? Genuinely unsure. I'd like to think we could at least tempt any Championship manager.

if they dont go up they will sack him , so the availability will be there

i think the new manager has already been decided , think its just a question of when we find out now

Would rather Clarke or Lennon than Houghton hope we are casting the net further than this.
