My view is that we should be extremely wary of managers near the foot of the EPL table.

The reality is, these teams are not poor. Therefore, claiming he's working a miracle on a shoe-string budget is way off the mark. They've just made 102 million this season.

If he had them up in the top half, I'd be more willing to take a punt. But then it's unlikely he'd have been sacked in that case.

He would be more professional than Lennon but is still some way off what we need.

We were * against Sevco there, granted. But it looked like an experimental Celtic team to me. The league was won ... that's what you do at the end of a league

This was not a time for a experimental exercise this was the huns we were up against, there should have been clear commitment to show we were the champions instead we put in a performance worthy of chumpions.giving them the bragging opportunity of boasting the "gap is closing" and "going for 55" again. It was an absolutely shocking showing which I find difficult to comprehend and accept.

    Absolutely zero chance

People need to understand that while we are a huge club, we play in Scotland and our league is honestly viewed as * whether people like it or not and 6 Euro games a season does not change that, at the end of the day 95 Percent of managers holy grail is the Premier League so there is no chance someone like Howe is leaving Bournemouth to come manage Celtic

Well if it's Lennon strap yourselves in till sevco win the league... Any manager that offers Lustig and Izzy new deals(if true) should be no where near management..

You think we were paying Rodgers more than what Eddie Howe is getting at Bournemouth? Zero chance again. No Premier league manager is leaving there club to come manage Celtic, the Premier League is the league to be out at whether we like that or not, the Scottish Premier League isn't.

I would take Houghton over Lennon, but that's hardly a ringing endorsement of Houghton.

Houghton will get job offers in the Championship. That's his level imo. Lennon will get job offers in League 1 if he's lucky.

Neither is good enough but one is less * than the other.

Yes. I believe Moyes will get it. It would be a massive disappointment but I'd prefer him to NL.

Yep, rather this than Lennon now.

Lennon has consistently said he hasn't changed much with this squad since Rodgers left, and I get that. But he sounds disinterested in wanting the job full time. If he was given it full time and he continued trying to follow rodgers success, we will continue to stagnate as we have the last 18months. It is time for a fresh change and approach. Cocu for me would bring something different and have us playing better football, higher tempo etc. We need freshness and a good kick up the *.

Regardless of whether you think Lenny is good enough for Celtic, there's no basis in his record for thinking he's *.

I really think Lenny deserves a bit more respect than this post shows.
