    If Celtic have some grade A manager waiting in the wings to be announced after the cup final then he must be the one who authorised offering Izzy the new contract. Obviously this guy will be a tactical genius who will have even the likes of Izzy storming the champions league. Move over Ajax there's a new sheriff in town.

    People will post it in here because Lennon is one of the candidates for the job. And if Izaguirre is telling the truth that Lennon wants him to sign a new deal then it affects people’s opinion of him getting the job long term.

    Hopefully Izaguirre is telling porkies though as it would be mental to have offered him a deal.

    One of the reasons I think Lenny is getting it is the fact the Season Books will be sold and then some regardless.

    So the ‘blue chip’ Manager isn’t required for commercial purposes and that was a big driver in the weasel being appointed.

    The more I think about it, the more I don't want Lennon near the job... We need something fresh like when the snake came in. Lenny is not a good manager, give him some sort of role but not manager.

    He’s started 3 games. Hayes only came on as a sub at LB at the weekend there I think, played LW and RW too sure.
