Let him go because he was completely done over 2 year ago. Brought him back from the middle east after that and he can barely move so we've offered him another deal at 33..

Hayes is preferred to him at LB so no idea why we’d offer him a new deal.

 

A guy that was overlooked to play McGregor at LB at the shitpit, a guy whose engine (or lack thereof) was badly exposed at Easter Road in the first few minutes and a guy who has had effectively zero game-time while Tierney gets ran into the ground while suffering from an injury that he requires an operation on.

Why in the name of * would we offer him a new deal? Utterly baffling.

 

I hope they take the 1 year extension off the table .
We cannot afford to be sentimental with Izzy due to his brilliant performances during his first stint with us .
We have enough excessive baggage in the squad and it is time to get rid of the deadwood and bring in new players so this club can move forward to the next level .

Sinclair I can half understand. Triggering the deal as long as we punt him for a couple mill is business. If we were to keep him and then Izzy for that left side again next season though....* help us!.

I'll hold my hands up and say that I thought Izzy was worth a short-term deal as back-up but everyone can see he's not upto the required standard for another deal. It's treating the fans with contempt to make out that he is.

If the intention is to sell Sinclair then aye I guess that's a different scenario.

I really thought that the shambles of last summer would be a watershed moment for us. An almost unforgivably bad way to mismanage things. We took a huge gamble by replacing quality with bosmans and loan deals. There's no excuse for that to be happening again.

Peter better not be up to his old tricks. The team needs reinforcements of genuine quality. If he doesn't do it this summer then he should be out on his * at the start of September.

 

Can't say I've seen much of Church tbh but I would definitely prefer to give him a shot if he's capable than giving Izzy a contract. All this talk about hooper and Izzy etc is giving me the fear. We need to look forward not back, if that means giving more youth players a shot the so be it. @Officer Doofy

There is zero excuse this time..for

If we were to * 9 or 10 due to penny pinching our way through it with plenty of money available, to a hun side who had to come from the lower league's with fuckall....there'll be riots..

There are actually no words to describe how incompetent offering izzy a new deal is.

Offering him a return in the first place was * shambolic.

Now that hes returned and offered the square root of * all... hes been offered a new contract?!

Someone at our club is either at the wind up... or doing a serious anount of charlie.

IF what izzy is saying is true... and its lennon who wants to keep him... then he can get to * too.

Theres something SERIOUSLY wrong here. NO ONE in their right mind would offer izzy a new contract. NO ONE.
