    Anyone who doesn't want the special one is off their * heads! IMHO, I can't see it however in life, there's been other things that have happened which I couldn't see it but happened. I'd be pleasantly surprised if he came to us but definitely would never say no. He'd attracted better players for sure and hopefully get us that uefa cup.

    Propaganda for both parties. Celtic are a good club to have on your CV. While the league has no big credentials the club are looked on very favourably throughout the continent. This is down to the networking by Desmond and Lawell and how the fans are viewed. I would love to see a manager come in that is going to freshen the place up and stir up the players. I want to see Celtic football being played again and no drubbing in Europe. But Mourinho wouldn’t be my pick because of his theatrics in Seville and his attitude toward the dressing room these days. But this news leak is good for business and he will be happy to be linked as he has praised the club in the past.

    I'm not a JM fan, but there's no denying that his appointment would be a serious coup for the Club, and that his name alone would catch the attention of a few decent players.

    Disagree.
    Mourinho has had a grey cloud following him for a while now and he has had a number of very public spats and fall outs with his players at his last few clubs.
    He has a tendency to blame everyone around him, even the club doctor, but himself.
    His style of football is very rigid and tactical and he doesnt allow players a lot of freedom.
    For the wages he would command, i would look elsewhere. Just dont think he would be a good fit for us at all.

    Yup - but look at the names of the players he was falling out with. The ego's involved would have been *' enormous!

    We don't have those type of ego's at our club, so I think it's safe to say that if JM was appointed, then JM would get what JM wants without any fuss - and we know he can do a job!

    It's not going to happen though.

    Say he was to come, how much do you think he would expect to be paid, and could we afford it.

    As far as I know Rodgers was on 2 million or so per year.
