He's always been right in amongst the celebrations, I mind him going mental when we beat the Huns at the start of the season and I dont think he had even played for us yet and was only on the bench

 

Love his passion n' that, but he's no gonnae be here next season and has missed far too much fitba through injury.

Was ecstatic when we signed him, but he's been a flop.

Very very harsh calling him a flop Pad..

Breath of fresh air when he came in, showed quality, swagger and scored a few important goals for us..

Got injured sheep away, carried that in to the * pit new year, then the snake * off and he hasn't really got a look in under Lenny....like most of the loan's..

 

Harsh, I know, but overall it's been a waste of a signing. Through no fault of his own, mind you.

 

Not a chance he was a flop. Was probably our best defender for the spell when he had a run in the team. For that alone he was vital.
Maybe never played as many games as we all would have liked but he was never a flop. Will be a top quality defender.

In all seriousness he actually could, still a bit thin for a centre-half and I dont think has even played 100 games yet in his career. Another year here, 50 games under his belt wee bit of weight on and then he would be ready for down there. As it is he could be overpowered or not up to the task of playing against Benteke, Lukaku, him from Bournemouth, Rondon and all those types closest things to them hes probably played against are diddies like Cosgrove and Morelos.

If he's thrown in a wee bit too early down there he could have his reputation dented, lose confidence and end up sitting on his * for months.

A waste of a signing? He played a big part in a possible treble winning season. 26 games he played and I can't recall one bad performance.

 

He's no been a flop. If he was available, I think everyone on here would want us to sign him permanently.

Lennon has clearly favoured those that we own ahead of loans. I can't really disagree with him as its has worked out with us on track for the rebel treble treble.

He has not been a flop. Compper is a flop, Benkovic played a decent number of games and was our best CB (by a distance) for a good chunk of the season. How you equate that to a flop is beyond me. Had you said his loan spell had been a flop I could have seen where you were coming from (although I would still have disagreed) but to call him himself a flop? Nah, that's nonsense.

 

He was an important addition and his quality is evident. Glad Lenny has got the best out of Jozo and Ajer though, so hasn't had to use him. Their partnership has been a real highlight since Lenny has been in post.

 

He hasn't been a flop but I think I know what @Mr. Slippyfist is getting at there. He's a quality player but 25 games isn't really what you'd expect. It's not his fault, but we should've been getting more out of him.

I'd be delighted to get him back next season.

It'd be clearer if you edited "he" to "this loan" or something, mate.

FWIW I agree. I also felt the same about Paddy's second loan.
