    Met him in the toilet at this seasons League Cup final. He was getting offered a swig of Dragon Soop off the young team but politely declined. Spoke with everyone and stopped for photos.

    Class snooker player and great guy who made a mistake (oh how good it would be to be someone that's never made one)

    I used to be decent at snooker when I was a wee guy and he was in and about the clubs we had games in. Mind one Sunday afternoon he came and sat through about 3 hours of a game between me and another wee guy when we were like 13.

    Must have been torture for him but if he was disinterested then he never showed it. At the end he was giving us both pointers, talking about different shots etc.

    Edit: This was literally a year or 2 after he won the Masters and UK Champiomship and was no.1 in the world. No ego about the guy at all. Completely down to earth.

    Sums the guy up mate. A class act..

    Year's ago I got taken down to Bournemouth to watch him in a final against Matthew Stevens. Was a Sunday and we didn't have tickets for the evening session we'd been in the day. Spoke to him and he was gonna sort it but we left for me to get back as I had school the Monday. Was raging :56:

    Higgins has been shocking and looks like he has ran out of steam.

    He has been fine with the long shots but he has missed some easy ones and his positional play had been very bad.
